Merry Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS
Yes, I know many of you in the US or that part of the dateline will think that Loomis has gone mad and jumped the gun, but thanks to international time zones, Sydney is now 8 hours into Christmas Day.
So in case I'm not on again for a while, Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays/Seasons Greetings to everyone, and a wonderful new year.
Here's hoping for an even more Disneyfied 2006.

I'm trying to have a merry Christmas but my mother is very sick right now. She has some form of bronchitis or early-emphazema. She can barely breathe, she hasn't spent more than 7 hours a day out of bed for the last 3 days, she's starting to get sores / bruises from staying in bed so long. She can barely move, because when she does she coughs so much that she loses her breath and can't really breathe without hunching over for several minutes at a time. She can't even get up the strength to feed her birds and fish. She's not even 50 yet. She's basically breathing off of an inhaler and 2 different pill prescriptions that aren't working. She can't leave the house. And what's more - I'm losing a lot of sleep over this myself. I was too exhausted to even go to work yesterday. I might have to start taking care of her, I might have to quit my job. If she doesn't get better by the 27th - I'm going to have to move in with my mother and live off my parents' money. I'm very, very, very stressed out as you can well imagine. It's been more than 3 days since she went to see the doctor about this problem, nearly 4, and nothing's improving.

Here in Danmark, yesterday we gathered for the annual Disney Christmas Show. In the beginning of the show, we see the Mickey Mouse Club logo followed by Mickey playing Piano. It's basically a christmas show with some Disney shorts, like Donalds Snowfight, followed by key moments of some of Disneys animated classics. Until this point it's the same. At the end, every year we see a short clip of the newest classic. This year it was Chicken Little.
This is like to a tradition to watch every year
. I've seen it for so many years and hopefully many more to come.
