Hmmmm yes I wonder... :shifty:

In many ways it's better than our cover but yet again our cover has more detail. However, like I've said before it's quality not quantity that matters. Not according to my boss but I do believe that.

Hey why do you guys get the French covers? That's not fair. ;)
That's it I'm moving to France! I'll live in Normady because I want to live near the Alantic which I've never seen before.

Well I wonder if we're going to have another French cover art surviver. This cover would totally win.

And I'm loving this because all I see is Bambi avatars on this page and this is a Bambi Thread. That Rocks!

Roger Rabbit avatar! Hah!!! :D

All joking aside, that's a nice cover....and it does indeed remind me of the beauty that the original film possessed.

Side note - Isidour, where are you finding all these Bambi pictures--the ones from the "midquel"?

Whoa Isidour you should totally check out this I think it's the same one you posted earlier but I'm not sure. But looking at this site it makes me feel uneasy. You have to see it to know why.

I'm also starting to think that he has flash backs of his mom, you'll know what I mean when you check out the gallery. Makes sense seeing how they're going to have a voice for his mother. Or something.

Actually son you're at the Hoover Dam..... damn. (I've had this quote stuck in my head from Beavis and Butt-Head: Do America all day so I had to blurt it out)

Geez.... :o

Just another reason why the entire disney.com website needs to be revamped!

And the voices (with the exception of Patrick Stewart) still make my ears bleed!

If their really is going to be some flashbacks in this, might I make a suggestion.

Make the flashbacks distrubing to watch.

Why not letting us all see Bambi's mother actually get shot this time.

I know it was an off screen death in the original film, and it was effective because it left it up to your own imagination.

But if a flashback is going to hold my interest when it comes to bambi's mother getting shot...Lets see some blood!

If we had more blood in this sequel, I definitely think it would improve the emotional impact. But since we all realize that this company will never come out its comfort zone, we're never going to have that kind of entertainment.

Just cute, cuddly, friendly, happy characters....with a great story. That's something that worked....half a century ago.

Hey, why not have some Bambi/Faline action...

That would hold everyone's interest I'm sure.

But noooooo.....

Wake up Disney.....holding onto a philosophy that worked 50 years ago, doesn't work in the 21st century! If you want to entertain us, take a note from Japan.

Cartoons aren't just for Kids ANYMORE! :D

The movie you're thinking of would be rated R; PG-13 at the least. They're not going to do all of that in a children's film. The targeted audience for this film is 5-year-old children. So you know, what did you really expect?

Besides you already know that Faline and Bambi get it on. I mean they do have children. Children don't magically appear... well actually sometimes they do. ;)

Now that I think about it he doesn't have flash backs; Bambi's mother's death was all a conspiracy like the JFK assassination. I mean the guy was popping of rounds pretty fast but with the types of guns that they had back in the 40's you can't shoot a bolt action that fast. Therefore there had to be a second shooter. One in the meadow and another on the Grassy Knoll. If you look real close you'll see a man hiding in the trees. She couldn't of been shot from behind because during the kill shoot her head moves back and to the left suggesting that she was shoot from the front. She was shoot 3 times too. One in the neck, the chest and the right temple. Need I explain the magic bullet theory? :D

no, it`s shure than a Flashback will be added to the movie, maybe a scene before Bambi`s mom was shooted, involving one of the new inmages in the page

By the way, did you just wayched the kiss scene? I liked more when I watched it animated but that still is very odd

No Isidour...

No Isidour, I'm sorry to say that I haven't seen the new trailer which is playing during the previews at Chicken Little. If you could record the new trailer and actually post some pics of it, I'm sure I could formulate an opinion on it. :?:

I might get this mid-quel...depends on how I feel that week and how other people like it. If it is true to the original story, then I will get it. However, if it tries to be too "hip" and modern, I'll pass. I look forward to everyone's reviews when it comes out so I can make my decision.
