Kronk's New Groove, DVD RIP OFF!!!!
Ok, the movie really stunk!
I did not like it that much what so ever. It was so corny!
THEN, B5 made a new rendition of the song Let's Groove, and I really enjoyed their remake. Normally, Disney adds the Teeny Videos and this one I actually would like to see and watch, is it in there? NNOOO!
They also had no soundtrack to the corny movie, or the full End Credits Version, at the end! What gives?
Sorry guys, just had to vent!

I didn’t expect much but that’s more than what I got. I seemed to be laughing through most of it and will make a great companion to my 2 disc of the first film. I like how John Fiedler's character got a name other than "Old Man" and that he was in it more than Spade and Goodman put together! (I mean lets face it great guys but they have had there time to shine in there charters). His wonderful performance made me want to watch the old pooh films and some of the "Bob Newhart show" (but as it was 12:30 last night, a school night, I could not) I just cant believe he is gone and I wish we could have seen him do much much more. Eartha Kitt as always was amazing but I wish that they had slipped in the deleted "perfect world Reprise" from the first with a few tweaks, at the time when the old people almost elect her empress . ChiCha being back was very very nice because well come on who doesn’t like Wendie Malick. (Frasier connection Wendie Malick was on the show for 9 Epps from 2003 - 3004 and as if you could not guess John Mahoney Kronk's Papi was Martin Crane Frasier's Papi (ok well they would not have said that on Frasier but hey same diff) on the show.) John Mahoney was also very good but I don’t know what it is but when he does voice work it sounds the same yet different from his regular voice. Now for the things I did not like: the middle 20mins was bad to ok only Pacha's kids got a little annoying after a wile (which is too bad because I rely did like them in the 1st new groove) and Tracey Ullman who I usually love in voice work got on my nerves I don’t know if it was the charter or the voice but I just didn’t like it. It should have been longer. It should have had more Yzma. I rally didn’t like the opening song and what was with the thing song girl? I mean was the matter Tom Jones to expensive? I doubt it I mean "It's Not Unusual" (sorry for the pun) for him to do TV like being a guest and singing the theme song to Duck Dodgers (no offensive to Tom fans).
But take out the middle 20 and ignoring the theme song girl I LOVED the film and will get it soon.
P.S. Does anybody know were I could get a MP3 of the song Yzma sings? I love that song. "I’m milkin' the Milky Way. I'm lovein' this lovely day and I feel like a mil-on".

I was just going to post something similar to that. I rented this pile of rubbish to show to my grandkids, and the first thing that came to my mind, hey this is two separate stories tied together. Really a poor follow-up to a really good movie.
This is why I never by Direct-to-Video sequels. They aren't worthy of theatrical distribution because all Disney wants is our hard-earned cash.

The only way to watch movies - Original Aspect Ratio!!!!

Yes but Kuzco is the star of it and during those two stories he was not in it.So I doubt very much they were ment for "New School".corrwill wrote:Yeah there is a TV show coming out...Jan I think. It's going to be on Disney Channel and I believe it will be called "The Emperor's New School" Not sure of any details but I picked the info up somewhere.
BTW Yesterday "The Emperor's New Groove" Truned 5th!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the first wasn't exactly a masterpiece of plotting. I am disappointed Disney went for the disguised-anthology option again. But I'm in now way disappointed with the final result.dvdjunkie wrote:I was just going to post something similar to that. This sequel or whatever you want to call it (I wouldn't really call it a movie - smacks Disney marketing's wrist) is exactly what I was expecting. The humour is just as sharp and irrelevant (and in some cases surreal). Somebody actually says "tickety boo". And at no stage does it resort to a cheap "turn anyone into an animal" I was expecting/dreading.
Not one of the best "sequels" but by far not the worse.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database
Once again, I agree with Netty to a T (either the first one or the second one, it doesn't matter).

Yes, it did, it did. It had the 3-D raised art too, I think.

Costco, for some strange reason, NEVER sells their DVDs with slipcovers!JiminyCrick91 wrote:DID Kronk's New Groove have a slipcover? my copy from Costco did not and I thought it should have.
I have 2 copies of "The Lion King"(1 being unopened) that came from Costco, neither have slipcovers!
But in return I got a foot long slipcover thing you can only get at Costco!
