I was googling Aladdin pictures and came upon this very interesting site!

http://the-mousehole.net/KHIH/KH-InvertedHearts.htm

It's a fan version of Kingdom Hearts! The characters seem pretty cool. Peter Pan looks awesome! There are downloads, screenshots, character artwork, and demo versions of this fan game available.

I can't wait for the 2nd installment to come out. From the looks of it, it'll be even greater than the first. So many wonderful Disney characters..!<3

Also, Utada Hikaru's theme song for KH2, "Passion" is a lot better than "Hikari" was, IMO (I got tired of "Hikari"... can hardly stand the English version "Simple and Clean"). d:

Man, this is taking too long to come out! I don't know which world I'm looking forward to the most. Probably Mulan or POTC, but Steamboat Willie looks awesome too!

I don't know whether or not I'm looking forward more to the Square characters or Disney characters anymore. XD I just want this game and I want it in my grubby little hands soon (March 2006? feels like such a long way away).

There are some new scans of YuRiPa (aka YRP) and Aerith-chan floating around as well as [semi-spoiler] Setzer of FFVI fame. There's also a scan of Nazo no Shounen (Mysterious Boy/BHK) and his buddies(?) Pintz, Olet, and Heine (this one makes the childish side in me giggle because of the way it looks like it should be pronounced--what was wrong with "Haine" anyway?) floating about.

P.S. Aerith makes me squee with happiness.<3

Aerith, Cloud, and Sephy
YuRiPa
Er... that semi-spoilerish/not really character I was talking about
Mysterious Boy/BHK and co.

I wish they would sent out a demo of some sort so we could at least know what the gameplay and controls will be like, I am so tired of waiting for this game, and knowing Japan is getting it on December 22nd is not helping matters. Oh well, it's been almost 3.5 years, whats three or four more months?

Here is the most recent from KH2.com! I'm sure theres lots of other Stitch pictures if you browse the Images Section in the side menu. Neverland isn't returning, but Peter Pan is returning as a summons! Though I hope he would be as valuable as the Tinker Bell summons from KH1.

I always knew Stitch would be a summon in KH2, but Chicken Little was unexpected. Can't wait to use them both! :D Although, I wanted Koda from Brother Bear to be one, I don't know how. lol.

Yeah, March does seem a long way away....argh.

I'm glad Neverland's not returning, that was one of the boring worlds next to Wonderland. Although I liked the Big Ben hidden boss battle, even though he was harder than crap. ><

Well, as some of you might know, KH2 came out a few days ago in Japan. From the looks of your posts, you're all very anxious about the game. Well, IGN posted a few videos: a gameplay video and two opening intros! Enjoy.

What are you eating?!

I think a dietary change is in order.
Man has a dream
And that's the start
He follows his dream
With mind and heart
And when it becomes a reality
It's a dream come true
For you and me!

Ahhhh is it? Yeah it is a bit strange looking, I was just browsing though and a strange blue lion appears lol, with a freaky grin!

So I guess Pete is the new Maleficent?

Thanks Kenai, I couldn't think who it could be at all! :D

I bring up this post again because I came back with KH fever.

I just gave it to a friend as a gift and it made me feel so excited!!!

I only own a GC, but I did play the game up until the end because a friend of mine let me use one of his PS2's.

The game was INCREDIBLE not just because it had all the Disney characters we all know and love but because everything worked SO well it's hard to explain with words. You have to experience it. Suffice to say that it doesn't feel like a kid's game by any means.

Big pluses:

the character voices; aside from Maleficent and similars (old ones) they found ALL the real voices. And the new character's ones (Square characters) are amazing as well. The way all the characters interact with each other.... ALL!!!

HUGE LET DOWNS....

1. the terrible camera!!!: best example: when you have to fight Cerberus (you have to hit him in the heads) the camera only reaches until their necks.

2. you can't skip the cut scenes!!!; the main reason I didn't finish it. I was in one of the last boss battles but I had to watch the same thing for like 10 minutes before actually fighting; and loosing.

3. the menu for the gameplay; whenever you wanted to do something in particular: atacking or use items... most of the time you did the wrong thing because you couldn't place the "cursor" where you wanted.

.... however, once I get the PS3... this is the first game I'm going to buy.

; and right now (and the reason for bringing this post up) is because I feel so tempted to buy Chain of Memories, but since I didn't finish the first part, and don't want any spoilers. I don't know what to do. I could wait BUT I'm worried that if I wait till the PS3 I won't be able to find it; right now is already "difficult" to find.

What do you suggest?

PS

1. One of the most creepiest moments in the game is when you get to hear all the Disney villains reunited in that room talking. You don't see them, but you know they are because of the voices. But the way it is shown it feels kind of "demonic" in a way.

2. And I don't mind going back to the same universes again (besides, I'm back  ) ... and after all, they already used most of the movies already (and glad they did because if the game ended up being not popular, then people would have been left out of their favorite Disney movie).

Besides, isn't the joy being with these characters we know rather than new ones?

Well, I guess you could play Chain of Memories without playing the first KH. There are spoilers, but they're very minor, from what I can remember (I haven't played it since February). The truth is, Kingdom Hearts 2 went into production way before Chain of Memories was even thought of, so they couldn't put any spoilers in CoM that they were saving for KH2, if that makes sense.

I highly recommend the game. If you want to finish the first one before moving onto Chain of Memories, then you could just buy it and not play it.

Thanks... I already bought it!!!

It is so cool. Amazing how they captured ALL the same experience of the PS2 game.

Besides, as I said... I don't currently own a PS2 and I'm not planning to buy one at this time. I much prefer to wait till the PS3 and get both PS2 games by then.

Well, they didn't really capture ALL of the magic from the first game seeing as how Tarzan's world is surprisingly absent. I guess there wasn't enough space in the game cartridge to fit it. It's no big loss, though, since that world wasn't very exciting in the first game either.
