I cant believe yall forgot about most of these movies. They were terrible!
What about me? I didn't forget it! In fact, it was my 4th least favorite film of the year! :D

Dr. Doom's costume didn't look like it's supposed to, Invisible Woman is supposed to be thin and white, Mr. Fantastic in the movie wasn't as old as he was supposed to be, and Thing.....good lord, who thought his costume was in any way correct looking ? He's supposed to have a neanderthal-like brow ridge. In the movie, he just looks like a horrible burn victim. Ugh. Dr. Doom did not have any superpowers whatsoever in the comic. And is it just me, or isn't Dr. Doom supposed to be from some foreign country ? And he and Reed are not supposed to be co-workers/friends.
So let me get this straight, you thought Fantastic Four was terrible just because they changed the costumes and characters a little bit? Kinda harsh IMO.

I think people hated Fantastic Four because they were expecting it to be as good as "Spider-Man" or "X-Men". When I found that unfair! Sure Fantastic Four was a bit chessy, but you have to give it credit for it stayed true to the comics more than probably any comic-book film to date.

Overall, far from the great superhero movie, I thought it was a fun 1-1/2 hour trip that should be looked at for what it is and not compare it to other great comic book movies.

Well, I've gotten into the debating spirit! I hope we don't go over-board though! :)

In DareDevil Kingpin was Black, but he was always a white guy in the comics. I thought Fantastic Four was a good movie

A little late with "Million Dollar Baby"..........that was last year and it won a whole bunch of Academy Awards. So there goes that theory of being a bad movie.

That's right, but it came out this year on DVD. Still movie sucked. Watch Cinderella Man, way better.

Since this movie is about the "Worst of 2005" I thought you should realize we are talking about theatrical movies not those on DVD. So "Million Dollar Baby" doesn't qualify for this post.

I own "Cinderella Man" and if you read any of the posts about Academy Awards or even here on "worst" you will see that I tout "CM" as a movie to be dealt with when it comes to Academy Award time.

Newsflash:

Cinderella Man was shut-out of the Best Picture Golden Globes. Bad news because the Globes are broken into into drama and comedy - 10 nominees, and Cinderella Man wasn't one of them.

Golden Globe nominations don't hold much water with the Academy. Let's see what they nominate in January.
