This is probably what Ichabod is thinking: Some day these so called "GREAT" films like "Finding Nemo" and "The Lion King" will all be forgotten but Home On the Range will be considered the greatest animated film of all time!

As for the newer movies I think they will be considered classics soon. I mean sure they were flops, but some of Disney's "best" movies flopped at the box office. Bambi, Pinocchio and Fantasia were all flops but yet after later releases in the theaters and mutiple showings on t.v. and multiple releases on video people soon started to discover these movies and considered them to be great movies. Hopefully 30 years from now people will look back on films like "The Emperor's New Groove" and "Treasure Planet" and people will say "Man those movies were cool!" Or they will probably want more thong jokes!

I wouldn't call them Disney's best movies, but the movies that I've always liked the most are:

1. The Little Mermaid
2. Hercules
3. The Sword in the Stone
4. Mulan
5. Treasure Planet

I can relate to those characters more than I could with someone like Snow White or Cinderella. Although, with TP, it's hard to say. There were so many bad parts to that movie (like Doppler, B.E.N., the stupid aliens, ships flying in space), though there were so many good parts, too...

Listening to most often lately:
Taylor Swift ~ ~ "The Fate of Ophelia"
Taylor Swift ~ "Eldest Daughter"
Taylor Swift ~ "CANCELLED!"

They took us to a magical journey under the sea, they show us how a beautiful girl can look into a heart of a beast, they even made us fly on a magic carpet...
Someday the magic will return!
