Not a movie, but I just watched episode 6 of Desperate Housewives, Season 2. While the episode on a whole was amusing, it was weak but (mild spoilers), the ending to the episode was a complete tear jerker! Seeing Susan run across the street in a wedding dress crying really broke my heart. One of my favourite moments so far from the series.

Just finished watching Stealth and found it not to be a bad as the critics said it was. Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx and Josh Lucas hold their own in this CGI dominated film about an airplane that is totally computer run.
Makes you think about the realities of this. I enjoyed the film and don't consider the two hours wasted at all.
Will watch "Madagascar" again later tonight.

Several:
A few days ago: SAW : Uncut. I really couldn't tell any difference form the last and only time and watched it. Probably, more blood?
Tonight was the night of the BIG, HUGE, LETDOWNS!!!
Rented 3 movies, didn't like any of them:
1. Jackass the Movie: Why did I think I was going to like this in the first place? A couple of segments were just ok... while the most part of the "movie" was unfunny and/or disgusting.
2. Heartbreakers: Always wanted to see this one. And since most of the movies I was looking forward to weren't at the video store, I finally got a chance to rent it. BLAH! A comedy that's not comedy. You go into the movie expecting something and then it isn't. It just kept getting badder and badder. To the point where you're left wondering: wasn't this supposed to be something else?
4. Christmas with the Kranks. THE WORST OF THE 3!!!! Why, because this one was actually one I was looking forward to. And contrary to the other ones I was expecting something much more of it. Why did they lie in the trailers? Whe I watched the trailer I was: "boy, this is going to be very good". Turned out to be, they spoiled all the good moments on the trailers (like what happened with Cats and Dogs) and the movie wasn't a comedy either. A family/dramatic movie... with funny moments thrown in some parts.
I don't remember when was the last time I was such disappointed at movies I've rented,
At least, I did watch one of my movies: The Batman Superman Movie very good.
... I've been watching lots of Xena lately

Like others I watched three movies last night, but I enjoyed all three:
1. Madagascar - Dreamworks latest addition to the animation world. These animals steal your heart and voiced by actors like David Schwimmer and others are just absolutely hilarious. The Penguins steal some of the scenes and their short "The Christmas Caper" is priceless.
2. Monster-in-Law - while not a big Jennifer Ho-Pez fan, I found myself liking this movie in many ways and one of them was her performance. The extras are excruciatingly funny. Good comeback movie for Jane Fonda.
3. Fun With Dick & Jane - since Jim Carrey is coming out with his ruination of this classic comedy I had to watch the original one more time. George Segal, Jane Fonda and Ed McMahon are just amazing in this film. Without seeing the new "remake" I am sure that this version will still retain its charm and sensibility. I just hope that Jim Carrey's version doesn't stray to far from the original story.
Good movie night in the Junkie's Home Theater.

Robots - While an enjoyable flick, and far beyond the likes of stupid toilet jokes, it's really nothing special. Aside from a few chuckles, I found myself quite bored seeing the same routines over and over again. Overall, a harmless viewing, but nothing to write home about. 7/10

Just watched Mean Girls. I had only seen it once after I initially bought it used at Hollywood video- it was funnier than I had remembered. A nice light movie to watch when bored

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire - Where to begin? So much positive feedback from me. Stunning visuals and cinematography, great effects, awesom story and the best acting yet from the actors! The final scene with Harry completing the task was emotional beyond words. He really pulled it off. This blows the socks off I and II, and is on par with III. My only beef would be the skipping from scene to scene. The pacing was totally off in some moments. Second best movie of the year, only behind Batman Begins. 9.5/10

Watched Havoc (Unrated) starring Bijou Phillips and Anne (Ella Enchanted, Princess Diaries 1 & 2) Hathaway. It's the story of two rich girls who decide to take a joyride throught the streets of East L.A. They get involved in a frightening landscape of drugs, violence and gang brutality. Very graphic film in its portrayal of the infatuation of two girls from the 'burbs as they get involved in a night they will never forget. The two male stars of this gritty drama are Michael Biehn, and Freddie Rodriguez. It is directed by two-time Academy Award winning director Barbara Kopple. A must-see for those who like a film that doesn't cop out with a happy ending, and those who like very gritty, disturbing films.

The Polar Express
Staring Tom Hanks
Last Year The Polar Express Came out.. I really wanted to see it but there were so many movies out at the same time (spongebob, incredibles, national treasure).. that I never had a chance to see it.
Well I rented it last night and I thought it was good.. I was hoping it would be better but it wasnt.... the thing about this movie is thats its hard to make a kids book into 90min. The great thing about The Polar Express is the animation the train, snow and the north pole looked fantastic.. its really an art film... but thats what its problem is like Robots it has fantastic animation but less story.. Tom Hanks did fantastic in his jobs. The music was great in this film also alot of it was just fun.
Another Great Thing about The Polar Express is that it sends a right message out unlike some of thees Christmas films we seen in the few years (Kranks,Bad Santa)... is the polar express my new fav xmas film? No a Christmas story still ranks at the top with Elf leading in 2nd but it is a very good film. Its only other prob was that they had to many problems on the train and thats where it lacked more story.. personally i wish they had more of the other kids.
Overall The Polar Express isnt the best Christmas film but Its still very good and I will watch it every few Christmases.

On a messageboard for my family members, I started a DVD review page a la UD except without screen caps. I started reviewing some 80s movies, so I had to rewatch my DVDs and watched:
The Princess Bride
Empire of the Sun
The Outsiders (new and old version)

I was watching Water Boy, one of Sandlers best but not the greatest movie. It's good for a laugh.
Now I'm watching Radio Flyer but it's in Spanish. Doesn't matter to me, I listen to German rock (Rammstein) so I'll watch a movie in Spanish. Besides I can pick up a few words and it's one of my favoirte movies.
