What unreleased 1940s Disney DVDs would you most like?

Taking a cue from Boogedy Boo, I wonder which of the unreleased Disney movies y'all would most like to be released? Without considering the Disney announcements of future releases on these titles (except those with actual release dates), which ONE of the 1940s Disney films would you most like on DVD? In constructing these polls, I'm only considering films begun before Walt Disney's death. And I must admit a region one bias. Sorry!

I voted Song of the South. As much as I'd like Bambi on DVD, the only reason I'd be getting it is to complete my collection. It is not one of my faves, but certain scenes rank up there.

Song of the South should be released because it would be a good move for Disney both commercially, and to those critics who say the film is racist. By releasing it, they can proudly say 'Look how far we've come!'
As Leonard Maltin says in regards to locking films away forever "I think that would be a shame" [defaults to that wacky smile of his. It think that might be what his face does when not busy talking. And sometimes when he is!]

Image
'It would be foolish to judge these films by today's standards'

The others would be great too, for the same reasons. Disney need to realise that sanitising these films is not necessarily a GOOD thing...

Melody Time HAS been released uncut in the UK (and I suspect the November R4 release will be the same). We also have Make Mine Music, Saludos and most fo the other cut package features coming out then.
Make Mine Music is being advertised at 72 minutes, so there is hope there!

i voted song of the south.. it would speak so much of society if everyone could see the past as the past and not cover it up.

Song of the South all the way.

With all the movies out there, some group can be offended by pretty much any movie by most any studio.

Just because a movie is released on DVD doesn't mean you HAVE to buy it, but if it isn't released does mean you CAN'T buy it. Come on Disney, give us the chance to buy this classic. Leanard Maltin could do a great introduction, and commentary to put the film in historical prospective.

I voted Song of the South as well.

I do have Bambi on Laserdisc and that is good enough for me untill the DVD comes, but I have Song of the South on a bad VHS (original UK, but showed so many times that it is begining to be bad).

Therefore Song of the South is the one I want the most.

I know Bambi's coming out, but that's the one I most want. Uncensored cartoons would be nice, and so would Song of the South. None of these compare to Bambi, however.

Song of the South was released in 1946, and predates widescreen.

Yes, it is, but at least it wouldn't be stretched on my 16:9 TV lol

Actually, that would mean it would be letterbox.
