Rest In Peace, Pat Morita a.k.a Mr. Miyagi.

Post by MadonnasManOne »

Pat Morita, well known for his role of Mr. Miyagi in the Karate Kid films, has died at the age of 73.

May he rest in peace. I am so saddened, as Pat Morita had such a kind face, and I always smiled when I saw him on screen.

This then is truly a Black Friday with the passing of Pat Morita. He was the consummate actor, and a very nice gentleman. The limo company I worked for in Los Angeles had me pick him up several different times and each time he was gracious to me and those around him.

Mr. Miyagi will always be remembered for "Wax on Wax off" in my dreams. We now know that there will be no more Karate Kid movies.

R.I.P. Pat Morita, you will be missed.

How sad. I always lind of took him for granted when I saw him on screen. I liked his performances, but never really thought too much about him beyond that. I had no idea he played the Emperor in Mulan. He will be sorely missed.

Now this truly is sad news. He brought entertainment to a lot of people, he did good work. In fact, he should have been on Inside the Actors Studio before this.

RIP Pat Morita

Pat first started acting in Happy Days and I remember him in The Karate Kid. Did he come out in 3 Ninjas?

Rest In Peace Pat Morita

He was such a cool emperor in Mulan. I don't think anyone else would have able to do a better job.
