Muppet Christmas Carol special edition dvd (region 2) query
I've got the original muppet christmas carol on dvd and vhs already, so the only reason I'm considering possibly buying this special edition is if the missing song "the love is gone" has been reinserted. I can't seem to find if this has happened without buying it myself.
Has any of you guys bought the new dvd, or know if this song has been included? I may have to consider importing the region 1 edition.

I've received the Australian DVD today (which is R2 and R4 encoded). The song has not been reinserted.
This release is only interesting if you want to see the movie in anamorphic widescreen. It's missing the two most interesting special features from the original release: the audio commentary and the making of-documentary.
