THE RETURN OF THE KING - Trailer!!!!!!!

Post by Prince Phillip »

O MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was soo freaken AWESOME!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! I just saw it today, right before Kill Bill which is very good by the way, real artsy, I think it should win an award, maybe best picture, if it doesn't go to Lord of the Rings this year, which it SHOULD! MAN!!! I got chills when I saw it today! December 17th can't come soon enough for me! Did I mention how awesome it looked!?!?! I think this movie is going to completely blow the other 2 away, maybe even put them to shame, cause the preview alone was just awesome!!!!

Anyone else see it? What did you think.

Oh and I will also have to start a Kill Bill thread, good movie, I'm awaiting the part !!, there is suppose to be one right, after all this was vol. I and the way it ended.... whoooo that certainly can't be the end!!! So this is one sequel I hope makes it to the big screen, I'll be waiting for that, but in the mean time, I am just siked about... you guessed it: The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

Haven't seen the trailer yet ... and I don't doubt for a second that the movie will be fantastic ... but Best Picture? That's a lot of enthusiasm for a trailer

He (Jackson) and the whole crew still deserve something for their efforts.
For every person who says that the films just come off as Tolkien' 'greatest hits', I say they have put together an amazing set of films...
Can't wait.

Seeing Kill Bill next week (starts here the 16th).

I don't have the 2 disc TTT, I'm waiting for the Extended Edition, even though I bought both versions of the first one, I just didn't have the money for the 2 disc this year, oh well, can't wait for the 4 disc!

Though I'm in more anticipation for the 4 disc set of Return of the King!

Oh and the preview suggests that 2 main characters die, and I'm pretty sure one of them is a given....

PM if you want to know, but I would just wait to see the preview, and judge for yourself  :)

For those of you who haven't seen the trailer, yet, it's on lordoftherings.net. I was simply stunned by this trailer. By far the best of the LotR trailers. I love the music in the second half of the trailer and hopefully that's actually movie score and not taken from somewhere else like with TTT's trailer music. Although, the RotK trailer did something to me I know it didn't intend to do: make me want the trailer for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban right now. Yeah, I admit it-I'm more of a HP geek than LotR geek. HP's teaser trailer debuts next month...and I'm counting the days...Oh, right, LotR. Great trailer. ;)

I watched the Trailer last night ... :o :o
Last year I purchased the Extended Edition only and used the free ticket to see Two Towers by myself while my wife and daughter were in Arkansas visiting relatives. This year I'm afraid I'll have to go with them and might be forced to see RofK in a less-than-stellar theatre setting :(
