There I changed my avatar temporarely while I look for a good picture of Bernard. Iven though I really like my beloved Triss the picture has bad quality.
Tangela, I truly admire you for writing those books. I have been kicking around novel ideas for years (and am in the midst of months of research on another idea) but have yet to ever get anything down on paper. The sad thing is I absolutely love to write but have never been able to follow through.
Are you attempting to get published or have you already done so?
Haven't really thought about that yet, Maybe something like Puffin Books, even though I think Puffin only publishes paperback and I want Hardcover. I was thinking about using my own "SantDoge Classics".
Don't hold yourself back in regards to hardcover. You would probably get much wider distribution thru softcover, although a quality title will sell-in and thru regardless of the binding.
I used to work for the parent company of Puffin...too bad I'm no longer there or I could try and point you in the right direction. At any rate, good luck and keep us posted!
Paperback is my preference. Well, atleast for the old classics or thicker. I like paperback for when you go on vacation, and it's easier to read, fold book back. Hardcovers are good, but only for First Editions. Other than that, there is no reason for it!
What, hardbacks? Well, in a collection, yes. But for school, no. How would you like lugging around a 400 page hardcover version of The Count of Monte Cristo! Fun, eh?
You're the author. How are you going to publish without a name?A pen name like an alias, like Beatrix Potter.Or you can use your real name, like John Grisham. So,what is your pen name?
