Well I've been pricing DVDs like crazy so sort of familiar with what is available and what isnt at least for Region 1 in the stores here in LA area. Alice in Wonderland ME and Mulan II are widely available still, Toy Story 10 Aniv. Edition I've seen everywhere as well. Nightmare Before Xmas has just been released in a new edition of some sort (I am not a fan so didn't take notes), and Ive seen that FernGully at Tower Records here. the places to check of course is go to the review of the DVD here at UD and click on the link which will take you to the Amazon listing for the product. For brick and mortar stores, I have seen these DVDs at Target Stores, Tower Records, Best Buy (usually has good selection), sometimes at Costco. Some of these stores, if you do not have them in your area, have online stores - Target is one and so is Best Buy. Best Buy and Target seem to have the best prices I've seen.

As for Snow White, Sleeping Beauty and other long gone Platinum OOPs - you will have to pay big $$ for new sealed copies. Snow White starts at $48 for a sealed copy. I am not sure about Sleeping Beauty or Lion King, but Amazon's secondary market sellers will have them.

A lot of those movies you can get at your local stores. Ferngully and Sin City are recent releases and you can get Alice in Wonderland at Wal-Mart
