They are really cranking these things out... I wonder if any of the future season sets will including Lifetime's TV-special, I think it was in 2004, with Bea, Betty, and Rue. They're re-running it this week on Lifetime, I think. I know they're still advertising for it.

I'm really chomping at the bit for the Season 3 release, so I was thrilled to learn Season 4 would be so soon around the bend. If Boy Meets World really has been delayed (and I'm still skeptical), perhaps it's going to be rescheduled to coincide with GG and HI and finally get these three shows back in synch?

Laz, I'm hoping this special makes it to DVD too. Thanks for reminding me of the Lifetime re-airing. I need to DVR it.

:D

Holy cow- I also forgot about E-TV's outstanding 2-hour (01:30:00 basically with the commercials removed, which aired in 2002 I believe) TV Tales special of the Golden Girls. Now that would really be a gem to get on DVD. If Warner owns the rights to the Lifetime special (just like they own the Intimate Portrait line now, right?), Disney/Buena Vista could try looking into this one.

^Interesting. I never saw that one.

Looks like Lifetime will be having a 20th anniversary marathon (although technically the 20th anniversary was in September... on my birthday :D). They will be airing 20 episode for 20 years (:o) followed by the reunion special at 10pm eastern on 11/11.

Also, check out www.lifetimetv.com for a humorous rendition of the theme song (which is being used in a new commercial!)

I like to think of it more as "minty." :D
