new to the board have couple questions.

Post by disneyfan85 »

Hi I am new to the board and I have a couple questions. My aunt and uncle invited me to come to Florida with them and my cousin next year in Feb or March. We are going to Disneyworld and I was wondering what its like there. I am 20 yrs old and I'm a huge fan of Disney movies and I really can't wait to go. I am soo excited.

what are the rides like? Is it really busy in feb or march? These questions must sound dumb! LOL.

thank you for answering. :)

I was there in January/February last year and it was not. I imagine as long as you avoid spring break you will be OK.

As for what are the rides like? That is a question that is hard to answer. Awesome would be one answer but try to get as much as you can done early so you can go back if you really like it.

Welcome, disneyfan85!

As a fellow 20 year old, here is my nice thread of advice for how to handle a trip at Walt Disney World.

Hi I also have another question. I am thinking about taking my video camcorder and I was wondering if your allowed to bring a camera or camcorder with you to Florida and Disneyworld to tape things and take pictures. Like one of the shows for example like Cinderellabration or something can you take pictures?

I'm 20 also and think that Disney World is wonderful and filled with more than enough to keep you more than occupied! I find Epcot particularly interesting, much moreseo than when I was younger. Of course, if you're a Disney fan (and even if you aren't, really), Magic Kingdom will most likely be your favorite.

You can bring video and photo cameras, and take video and pictures of most things. Cinderellabration is an outdoor show that takes place on the castle stage and you can film the whole thing if you want. There are only a few exceptions to this (for example, "Who Wants to be a Millionaire - Play It" won't allow you to record video). And of course, remember not to use flash photography for stage performances or for "dark rides" (track rides that occur mostly in the dark), unless you're told that you can, because it's very distracting for performers and/or guests.

Have fun! :D
