Mickeys Once Upon a Christmas dvd

Post by DEREKG »

Was just at the grocery store and noticed on the shelf

Mickeys Once Upon Christmas.

I thought it was OOP???

Mabye not?

I see this dvd selling on ebay for big bucks around this time of year!

I picked up a copy for $14.99.

It was Smiths. The same chain as King Soopers.
We can't stop here! This is Bat Country...

Like the <a href="http://www.ultimatedisney.com/OOP.htm">site's Out of Print list</a> says, this one oddly goes out of print seasonally. It's never been discontinued altogether (though its initial release was supplanted by a Gold Collection version 5 years ago), but it's not easy to find even online at some points during spring and summer.

Right now, <a href="http://service.bfast.com/bfast/click?bf ... Buy.com</a> has it for $14.99, 50% off SRP.

It's on a rotating schedule. After Christmas they'll put it away until like Sept. It's a seasonal thing, obviously.

haha, Luke just beat me.

I found a copy of it at Wal-Mart last week so I picked it up. I used to see it seasonally but last year when the sequel came out I didn't see it anywhere.
I thought it would reappear again but I would have thought they would have came out with a two-pack.

Orestes.........don't give up on the two-pack idea. Our city has Eight Wal-Mart Supercenters, and while shopping at one of them tonight I noticed both the single edition and the two pack, so they are out there. Just be patient and I am sure they will appear on the shelves real soon.

I'd get it, even if it's in P&S. AFAIK, only our local Target has them, for $16.99.

I've thought of buying these but picked one up (can't remember which) at a gamestop and read the cover- it looks like it is in 3D or something. I didn't know how I felt about the animation so I put it back down.

Are these worth it? I kind of want them but am iffy on the animation.

I should probably post this in the DMC forum, but since you replied here, I'll post here too...

what is the 50% off code?

I live 500 mi from home but since my billing address is in NY I never get those flyers they send in the mail (I'm assuming it came in that).

Thanks! :)
