[France] All Pixar Movies In One Big Box Set !

Post by Jordan »

BVHE France has annouced the release of A Complete Pixar movies Box Set for November 23, in France ! A great Christmas present !

This set will include only 2 Disc Collector's edition set for each Pixar movie, including :

- Toy Story 1 & 2
- A Bug's Life (1001 pattes)
- Monsters Inc (Monstres & Cie)
- Finding Nemo (Le Monde de Nemo)
- The Incredibles (Les Indéstructibles).

6 movies, so 12 DVD in total !

What is important to note is that both Toy Story & Toy Stroy 2 will be presented in this box set as 2 disc Special Edition, a premiere in France ! We don't know yet if these 2 editions will be the same as the US's rereleases 2 Disc editions of both movies in September (for the 1st) and December (for the 2nd). But, it's likeley...

Here's the pic of the big box set:

That is the most unique box art I have ever seen!

Awesome cover! I own two of those DVD's, but if it was released up here, I think I would have picked it up anyway.

I hope this means that the rest of Europe gets the 2-disc release of Toy Story as well.

They should have released this after the Cars DVD was out, though. That way, you would have all the Disney Pixar releases.

Yes, I think everyone would agree on that, but Pixar needs the money now since they have no movie to promote until next year. I wonder what they'll do for cash 1st quarter 2006 (until Cars is released)?

In Poland we got a Pixar collection box in June. Here's how it looks like:

They also released a downsized box with Monsters, Bug's Life and Nemo.

New box art is not so odd. I like it, though the earlier concept art was cool for its sheer weirdness.

AWESOME concept and artwork. However, the final artwork will be sold easily, I think.
I'm not bad. I'm just drawn that way.

I LOVE the eye artwork box, it's fantastic and so recoginzably Pixar. Great that this includes all Pixar films to date. However, I'll just stick to individual dvd's since Cars will be coming up and loads more Pixar films over the coming years. I have faith in a new Disney/Pixar deal anyway.

Click here to access a French forum who's got some home made pictures of the Pixar Box Set :

As you can see, it's actually not a box containing amaray cases of all releases, bu a it's presented as a "catalogue of DVDs" :)

:D cool, I like that packaging, but I still prefer the 'eye' design :P . Am I the only one who can imagine that set being really heavy. :) I also noticed you have the 2 disc set of each dvd in that collection, if I remember correctly, the UK equivalent only has the 2disc releases for Incredibles and Finding Nemo, Monsters and Bugs are single disc. (Doesn't contain TS/TS2).

Thanks for the pics Jordan!
