Great job on the Herbie: Fully Loaded review, Luke!

It's too bad the spines don't match up with the rest of the herbie movies. :(

Commented on the Christmas review in another thread, but I just wanted to say that the DMK disc sounds way better than the Disneyland Resort: Happiest Homecoming on Earth - Official Celebration Edition Commemorative DVD I bought in the park, which had more content in its lengthy title than it did on the extended promo of the park found on the actual disc.

Speaking of which, I'm happy to review that at some stage if it hasn't been done. I've been known to write the odd review for DVDs :)

That's what I've heard too, Loomis. I don't think I've read a single overly positive comment about that disc. The general reaction to the 3 other WDW park DVDs is a lot more negative than for the MK disc too. I haven't seen those three, but I hope to snag them in the not-too-far-off future. Thanks for reading!

I did it again! Had free time at work (thankfully) so I caught up with the reviews! :)

CD roundup: Though I'm not interested in CDs (as much as DVDs), it was interesting to see how you ranked them. I "haha-ed" when I saw the Disney Remix. After reading that, it made me want the Mary Poppins CD (just to compare voices. :p

CCF8: Maybe I just missed reading about it somewhere, but I was shocked to see that colorized picture of Mickey's Good Deed. Obviously, I haven't opened our CCF#8 yet, but at least I won't be surprised now! Sounds disappointing, but I'll have to watch it on a good day. I swear I watched some of them when I was little, can't wait to bring back memories...*tear

Tarzan: "MMP, you gotta read this!" But I didn't see anything "special" about the DVD from reading that review. Still disappointed in Disney for making this a 1-disc "non-SE", because I would've loved to double dip for this movie.

TENG: "MMP, you have to read this (you money waster)!" Wow, this is a terrible re-release compared to Tarzan! :o I still think people should get the TENG CE if they can, even at a price of $30+ (from Best Buy I believe..)

Cinderella Gift Set: Thanks for the review! :) I like the book, but I was disappointed with the packaging and how Disney didn't maintain it's "uniformity" with the other Gift Sets (actually, I'm just speaking about the drawings without frames). But overall, I was pleased with this Box Set! :D

(and I'll catch up with the reviews another time... ;))

Soooo, thanks reviewers! :thumb:

Thanks very much for reading the reviews and the feedback, Krystal and Loomis. It's a very thankless job without either.

Thankless though it may be, I keep doing it. Here's a more in-depth than necessary but hopefully more amusing than necessary DVD critique of:

Song of the South: 60th Anniversary Edition

Yes, I'm resorting to that. I've just spent many hours on this review, you see.

Will it make you feel better to know that I read* the review?

I read the reviews, I just don't comment on them because usually I find nothing to comment on besides "Good Job!". I'll try in the future though, to leave a nice little critique for each future review...

Oh my god you are reviewing Mickey's House of Villains and Hocus Pocus?!!!!!!!!!!! I am soooooooooooo wanting to read them right now! I love Halloween and they are my two faves to watch, alongside The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Haunted Mansion, even though none of them are scary. I was wondering whether UltimateDisney was going to do something for Halloween and here it is! I thought maybe that Luke wqould write a list of his top 10 favourite Halloween movies, since some other sites have, but this is still pretty cool.

Here's a nice hocus pocus review by me, in haiku too!

Barebones, no Trailer.
Good movie, even though it's
Non-Anamorphic

Wow, wonderful haiku Escapay! However, I will probably think of UltimateDisney's review as the best one. Though yours will be in the top 5!

Yeah, they need to release a special edition of Hocus Pocus. I'm looking forward though to the review to see how the barebones dvd is. I might have to just get that one.

I cannot believe it, but I actually fell for that.

Good job on Tarzan and TENG. Too bad they were released on the ridiculous "1-disc special edition."

LOL, thanks!

Aaron's review, I trust, will be about 800 words longer than mine, and have pictures with funny captions! Hey, maybe he'll include my haiku as a closing thought! *hint hint*

Read/skimmed the review. Thumbs up on that, but thumbs down on the DVD. Doesn't seem impressive enough for me to buy and keep forever. Seems more like a rental now.
