Leonard Maltin: The group of black workers gathering around for a song is not racist. It's just a lot of jolly old fun and I love watching it.

Leonard Maltin: It's speculated that Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah is really a secret code language for a secret white supremacy organization that quickly fizzled to nothing in the late 1940s. Unfortunately, no one believes this theory so why am I talkig about it?

Well, in the original story of Pinocchio, the little puppet did get hanged but I think Carlo Collodi(the guy who wrote the original story) changed the ending before he died with the now famos one with Pinoke turning into a real boy.If you want you can read the original story here http://www139.pair.com/read/C_Collodi/T ... As for Sleeping Beauty, I heard it numerous times that she got raped in the original fairy tale. In a another verison, Aurora slept for a hundred years which is the one I grown up hearing. I don't much about the original Sleeping Beauty so I'm sorry if I don't know what I'm talking about. Hopes this helps.

BBC Promotional Documentary on Disney Fairy Tales (I believe around 1990, this was broadcast to promote the UK release)

It was around the time of Beauty And The Beast and it featured some early footage of the escape over a sea of lava from Allllaaaaddddinnnn.

On the UK TV documentary front I'd like to see Hercules with the South Bank Show about Gerald Scarfe's involvement in the character design.

Don't think we'll see either as it would involve Disney having to pay out some sort of copyright payment to use the footage (and I seem to recall the Scarfe documentary including some footage from Pink Floyd's The Wall)

And I'd like to see a "music only" track for the films. This could be accompanied with some subtitles providing some background information.

I think that Disney should release all its classics; one every two months!...i don't think my bank account would be too happy though.
