UltimateDisney Members Survivor Tasks Thread *Round 5*

Post by Mr. Toad »

On the way to tribal council Mr. Toad fell off a cliff plunging to his death on the rocks below. Foul play is suspected.

Seriously, Ichabod has offered to let me run the game until he is able to return.

Disney Royale

Pridelands Tribe

Raydawggie

ChayChay102Royal

Robin Hood
RJKD23
Dave Wadding

The subject of the next round is Disney Theatrical Shorts. Disney Royale must choose to sit two members for the next round.

Unless otherwise stated at the beginning of the round, the following rules apply.

• UD Members will be split into 2 tribes who play against each other. The tribes will be selected at random by me.
• Each team will have a tribe leader selected at random by me. The tribe leader will under normal circumstances not have any more power than any other team member, but may be called upon to do simple tasks for their team. For example the first task of the tribe leader will be to come up with a name for their tribe.
• Every 4 days a new challenge will be set, with 20 questions or tasks for members to complete. These tasks will range from easy questions to hard questions, 1 being the easiest and 20 being the hardest (in theory). For each question you get right, you get one point. So if for example you get 12 questions right out of 20, you will get 12 points. You have three days to answer these questions and submit your answers.
• Each round will begin at 3:00 PM EST / 8:00 PM GMT and will end at 3:00 PM EST / 8:00 PM GMT.
• The answers to the questions must be emailed to me before the deadline. Please include your forum name and the team you are playing for when you submit your answers. Any late entries will not be counted.
• At the end of the round, the individual and overall points will be displayed by me, including how many each member scored. At this point if applicable the answers to the questions will be revealed.
• The points each member scores will be added to the points from the rest of their team members and the team with the lowest overall score will have to vote one person to leave the game.
• However the person with the highest score will be granted immunity, however if more than one person gets the highest score, no one will be granted immunity. Also the vote cast by the person with the highest score counts for TWO votes.
• Your votes must also be sent to me by email, where they will be counted, you have one day to do this!
• After a certain number of members have left, the two tribes will be merged into one tribe.
• In order to avoid accusations of cheating, I will not be playing this game, with me solely as judge, it will avoid comments about me being biased to one tribe over the other.
• If you believe I have accidentally miscalculated a score or have accidentally got the answer wrong, you are free to point this out to me, however anyone who deliberately argues with me because things aren’t going their way will be out of the game.
• You are free to communicate with any other member, you can play with them or you can lie and manipulate them if you so wish.
• Communication with other members must be done by email only! Likewise please only email me your answers, I do not want to add to Luke’s bandwidth issues because of people sending endless private messages. If it is reported to me this is happening, you will be out!
• In case of a tied score, the tribe to get all their entries in to me first will be the winner of that particular round.
• If I so choose, I reserve the right to change any rule at any time or introduce new ones to shake up game play and to keep you on your toes.
• Only one answer per question, if you submit more than one answer to a question even if one of them is right it will not be counted.
• On rare occasions a question may have multiple answers, and I will be looking for one answer in particular. Even if you submit an answer that is correct, if it is not the particular answer I am looking for, it will be counted as incorrect.
• Any rudeness or nasty comments to any other member will result in your expulsion from the game.
• I am aware that sometime due to external circumstances you may not be able to reach a computer and may unfortunately miss a round, I am allowing each member one opportunity to miss a round. Although remember your fellow team mates may frown upon this and I cannot save you from them voting you off.

Hints and Tips

• The team with the highest score will be safe from nominating one of their own team mates, so if you get together with a couple of other players and share answers it will help your chances of getting a higher score.
• However, if you do the above, it will mean than you may not have a shot at immunity or getting to cast a double vote, if you help someone to get the same score as you!
• Things may not always be as they seem, the tagline of this game isn’t ‘Trust No One’ for no reason!

Last Comments

There are two threads, this one for the posting of tasks and for revealing the answers of the task only. It is not necessary for you to post in this thread that you have sent in your answer or to comment about anything. This is just to minimize confusion and stop members needing to trawl through pages of posts just to find the questions.

There is another thread here where you can discuss whatever you like about the game, your thought opinions etc, however remember this thread can be viewed by both teams and it would not be wise to be sharing tactics and answers in there.

Most people answered Once Upon A Christmas, which I am going to accept without researching. Man in the Moon and Man in Space were among the answers I had.

9 What was the first Oswald short produced?

Poor Papa was the first produced. I believe only one person answered this question with the name of a cartoon, but it they answered with Trolley Trouble, the first release(not the first produced) - and Pal thought I was being easy

Flowers and Trees

A writing tablet

12 What was the first cartoon released in Cinemascope?

Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boom

A lot of people answered Roger Rabbit but I can not find any evidence he was ever in a WB Cartoon. Acceptable answers included Hiawatha, Big Bad Wolf, Three Pigs. I also accepted Witch Hazel even though they do not appear to be the same witch.

21 What kind of animal is Beppo?

Gorilla

It was a slaughter. Casino Royale nearly doubled the Pridelands.

Dave, Timon and eatmorechicken all failed to answer. I think Robin Hood was the only one with a strike against them previously. I am not going to count round 1 since many people did not get notice of the game starting before going away for labour day.

RJKD scored the best of anybody in the Round with 16 and is safe from elimination.

Uh, so who's leaving due to not turning in answers? I object to not using round 1 as an eliminating factor, because it was used by Ichabod to eliminate others. This game has to stay consistent. :(

I've just checked the records and eatmorechicken did not turn in answers the first round. I'm afraid I'm going to have to petition for his exit. Otherwise, we (DISNEY Royale) want our team member back (JiminyCrick).

New host, new rules. Don't forget that we voted someone out last round, but they stayed because Ichabod never posted the results, and we lost Mr. Toad instead. Each team lost one member due to the two-missed rounds rule, and I never liked it anyway. I think Mr. Toad's solution is fair.

So it was an even exchange. One player stays and another one goes, there was no team inequality. Thanks Mr. Toad for going by the pre-set rules. :) Don't forget, Pridelands must vote yet another member out. Tribal Council doesn't go away because someone is elminated due to lack of responses.

You do realize that you're becoming the equivalent of the kid who reminds the teacher that they forgot to assign homework, right? ;) Each tribe lost a member by the original rules - Fidget and JiminyCrick. Therefore, it's not like your tribe was unfairly inconvenienced by it. If Mr Toad wanted to change the rules a little now that he's host, that's his right.

Yeah, and don't you realize there are processes for changing rules? When you're changing rules, the teams needed to be aware of that. When Mr. Toad signed on to this thing, he should have said, OK, these are the new rules...He didn't, so we have no choice but to play by the old ones. You can't change rules AFTER the fact, AFTER scores have been tallied, AFTER the results are up. Anyone with common sense can agree to that.

Update to the scoring - since Dave Wadding submitted his answers to Ichabod he will not be charged with missing the round, however his answers still do not count. As well, chay chay did not submit her answers as thought. I received an email from a churay and figured that was her, but it was enchantress.

So that means ChayChay is eliminated as well. She too missed the first round. Rules are rules. :(

I move for reinstatement of Fidget, JiminyCrick, Eatmorechicken, and ChayChay, and adoption of Mr. Toad's "round one doesn't count" rule. At this point, this game is quickly turning into a situation of more people being eliminated by that rule than by voting.

Who cares? That's what Ichabod's original purpose was. We would be forever if we were going to vote out all 24 of the participants one by one. You CAN'T change these rules. My team will boycott, plain and simple. :(

Normal Survivors don't go a month between rounds and pick up again suddenly with no real warning. As glad as I am that Mr. Toad picked up the game again, he really should have given an all-around amnesty for this round. After all, I think most of us had given this game up for done.

This is the way I see it, the twist has occured. Eatmorechicken and ChayChay were eliminated due to the rule. Pridelands still must vote out another member. Disney Guru and MMP are switched to Pridelands. Everything I just said is going strictly by the rules and the switch. If there is any justice, this will stand. :)

Didn't I add JiminyCrick to that list? He was your member!
