I think the original UK press releases stated the tins were for a limited time only (like slipcovers). I suppose some batches went out without tins.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

I saw MM2 with a tin in my local WHSmiths last week for £21, so i'm not too gutted that my £6.99 copy didn't have one
