Well I've been looking at extremely old threads(yup, I need a life!
) and to my shock, I found Loomis has finally put up an avatar!

Re: Is Loomis back?
Well, his departure garnered a 2 page thread, but my alleged return garnered a 2 POST thread.Timon/Pumba fan wrote:Does this mean the "Lazario of the old days" has returned?
I think any comparison is null and void.
Long live Lazario.

Well I did say Lazario of the old days.
Anyways welcome back Loomis! We probably didn't always look eye to eye, but you opinions were always interesting, funny and most of the time, dead-on.
You've been gone for too long! Welcome back!
BTW LOVE YOUR AVATAR!

Long stories of fallings out and me losing my keys to UD (it's true...at one point I did actually inadvertantly deactivate my account) aside, thanks for the warm welcome.
At least part of my absence - the bit in September - was spent in Disneyland Resort in California, or near there (as some of you have guessed already). It truly is the Happiest Place on Earth. The avatar comes from Splash Mountain by the way (and yes, a photo exists of me coming down the mountain - I didn't show my breasts, however). Any chance of starting an official Disney Vacation Forum/thread? I have many tales to share.
The rest of the absence can be put down to my stubborness. This warm response makes me realize why I posted here so often in the first place. I'm sure it won't be long before I lose my cool with somebody over a slipcover or controversial religious thread, but it's nice to come back to a board where everybody knows your name. I really don't want to make a big deal out of this, so just pretend the last 4 months or whatever didn't happen and that we've just rolled off another wacky adventure.
Also, I'd like to thank Luke for cutting me a spare set of keys and I hope all is forgiven. Suffice it to say, "You were right, Luke. Tell your sister you were riiiggghhhht...."

Welcome back, Loomis. Good to see you. We need more laughs around here! And no hard feelings!
Your avatar is completely awesome. Making the trek from Down Under to Disneyland for the HCOE = very cool. Ever ready for theme park discussion, I can't wait to hear some of your stories.

Prepare for them to drop even more now that I'm posting againMr. Toad wrote:Truly happy to see you. This place's average IQ has fallen greatly without you.
And I second the part about the Disney vacation thread. We really need to inspire Luke to go.
Defintely. Will try and post some photos as well!AwallaceUNC wrote:Welcome back, Loomis. Good to see you. We need more laughs around here! And no hard feelings! Your avatar is completely awesome. The original trek from Down Under saw us going to New Orleans, but obviously that had to change. So we spent 4 days in Disneyland rather than 2 (gee, I was soooo upset
Thanks, mate.Luke wrote:Welcome back, Loomis! Two months earlier and I could have run into you at Disneyland! (Not literally, that would be hideous.)
Running into people at Disneyland is fun! It wouldn't be anywhere else. In Universal, for example, it could just be messy. It could have been the Happiest Running Into On Earth!
Now I just need to get the It's a Small World and/or Casey Jr. themes out of my head.
