Corn Chips will NOT be on the Donald DVD this December, due to that the cartoon is made in 1951, and the DVD only include shorts from 1934-1941.

As far as I know Goliath II, The Greener Yard and Corn Chips have not been on any DVD yet.

Paul Bunyan is on The American Legends DVD, as correctly stated above!

How about a treasures series with the Disney 50's and 60's cartoons? It would be very interesting. I like "Toot, Whistle, Plunk and Boomb" and "Adventures in Music: Melody" very much, that is the style I like best.

BTW, I've never seen John Henry. Could you tell me something about it?

According to some rumour around, there will perhaps be an Disney Specials Treasure DVD next year, where all the cartoons that doesn´t fit into the normal series will see it´s release on DVD. There you will have the Specials from the 50´s and the 60´s.
John Henry is a little good cartoon, a little different but a little in style with the shorts you said that you like from the 50´s and 60´s.

I copy:
The film tries to tell the story of the real man (told in traditional, if bland, character animation, purposely looking like the 1960s xerox-look, with construction lines visable through the characters) and the legend created around him (those limited sequences done in a cool tribute to Mary Blair). Narrated by his wife Polly (Alfre Woodard), she explains how she made his famous hammer out of his chains (this being right after the slaves were freed). John Henry joins the railroad team and inspires the workers with his great strength. When a steam engine threatens their livelyhood, John Henry challenges the machine to a race. When his wife objects, John says his big line: "If they steal our dreams, they'll put a chain around our souls. Someone's gotta stand tall!". John beats the Steam Engine, as they build the railroad through a rock mountain. But after beating the machine, John Henry collapses and dies. The film ends with John's wife and son looking out on the valley, a valley which wouldn't have prospered without the hammer of John Henry.

i believe that John Henry was on either Toon Disney or Disney Channel in 2002. it was suppose to be shown before Return to Neverland but instead they showed a Pluto cartoon.

Right, John Henry was aired complete on Disney Channel back in Feb. 2001 as I recall, as part of the Black History month celebration. Then it was issued with the opening and closing credits edited out with Disney Heroes.

As for the Disney Treasures Hodgepodge, I haven't heard anything about that. The only ones that are most certainly a go are Mickey Mouse in Black and White 2 and True-Life Adventures. Anything else is just speculation at this point, though I'm hoping for Silly Symphonies 2 at some point.
