aren't simba and nala siblings?

Post by Lady »

even as a child i would wonder about this. since mufasa is the only male in his pack, wouldn't that mean that he is father to both simba AND nala, making them half-siblings? :o

maybe incest isn't a big deal with lions. *shrug*

Actually, incest IS a big deal with Lions. That's one of the reasons Scar was so intent on killing Simba - he figured he'd commit this horibble act later on in life. Of course, Scar himself commited sodimy, so it doesn't make much sense.

huh!?! :? none of that just made sense...

Anyway, royality have been practicing incest, since forever, so oh well, I too thought about this, Well I guess it is the case.

If you think about it, Herc according to the disney version, would have been a product of incest too, but disney really diddn't follow with the mythology soo, I don't know, that's al screwed up...

There's nothing wrong with dating your cousin. I can date mine now. About 1976 I would say.
Most of my Blu-ray collection some of my UK discs aren't on their database

It's a joke.

Originally, there was a scene with Scar hitting on Nala to make sure Scar didn't come across as gay to the audience, but it was taken out.

I suck.

Jebediah Springfield: People, our search is over! On this site we
shall build a new town where we can worship freely, govern justly, and
grow vast fields of hemp for making rope and blankets.

Shelbyville Manhattan: Yes, and marry our cousins.

JS: I was - what are you talking about, Shelbyville? Why
would we want to marry our cousins?

SM: Because they're so attractive. I, I thought that was the
whole point of this journey.

JS: Absolutely not!

SM: I tell you, I won't live in a town that robs men of the
right to marry their cousins!

JS: Well then, we'll form our own town. Who will come and
live a life devoted to chastity, abstinence and a flavorless mush I
call rootmarm?

Problem is, you might end up with kids with no teeth who only drink apple sauce through a straw and play the banjo....

Who says Mufassa is the only male in his pride? He's the only male that we see, and he's the alpha male, but the pride seems to be relitavely large. I always assumed that Nala's father is just some other lion we don't see in the movie/

I always wanted to know who Nala's father was. Some people think Scar is becase both have green eyes. But if you watch Simba's Pride, here eyes are blue.

Yeah, maybe Nala's mom doesn't want to tell Nala who her dad is.

I agree with Jake Lipson and Scar Tissue: Nala's mom, Sarafina, could've met another male either in the same pride or a different one.

Now I'm wondering who Timon's dad is.

i think if scar was nala's father that would've been worked into the story somehow, seeing as how their characters are fundamentally complete opposites.

It's brobably the son of the father of her brother's wife's father-in-law.
