All R2 Walt Disney Treasures £5.97 -Amazon
Amazon.co.uk currently has all of the Walt Disney treasures for £5.97, so this might be a good time to fill your collection

Unbelievable. Thanks for the tip. I actually went to www.play.com, because the postage is free from there, and paid £6.99 and £5.99. I guess they're being discontinued shortly ? Or was it poor sales ?

I thought the same thing, it seems they haven't sold too well over here, i remember the sales figures on amazon being really tiny compared to other dvds, oh well, i'm not complainingpunkoala wrote:Unbelievable. I think there should always be somewhere with the treasures for £6'ish, my two, silly symphonies, and Donald duck were both bought for around £6, one in MVC and one on Play.com, but i suppose get it when you can incase it changes.

Nobody knows if the sales are low or not. If you'll notice it's not just the Treasures that are going cheap. I mean over the past years i have seen Aladdin for as low as £4.97, and a load of other classics for a little as £5.99.
Just because Play and Amazon have them reduced, pretty much everywhere else has them for their full price of £14.99 ish.
I'm sure that there will be more Treasure released.

Andy's just annoyed because they advertised the dvd with a picture of the MM2 tin, which you would assume means that it comes with the tin, i'm sure that if the picture would've been of just the dvd case, he would'nt have been bothered.
For all its worth, i'd be annoyed to, i'm not a fan of Amazon.co.uk anyway.

probably a slip up by amazon uk. give em a call. if they are showing a tin in the ad, then not to provide one would be a misdescription under trading standards in the uk & they would be obliged to provide it or give you a full refund including postage.if not showing or mentioning the tin,you got what you ordered. hope this helps
I did. I sen them an angry e-mail, i also complained about the crap service, it took 5/6 to even start dispatching a product that is in stock, i also paid first class so for it to take so long didnt impress me either. All i get from them in the reply is send the product back.waltmad wrote:probably a slip up by amazon uk. give em a call. if they are showing a tin in the ad, then not to provide one would be a misdescription under trading standards in the uk & they would be obliged to provide it or give you a full refund including postage.if not showing or mentioning the tin,you got what you ordered. hope this helps
I've dedided not to, i cant be bothered to have anything to do with them, im just going to re-buy it from play.com later and decide what to do with this one at a later time....
Also dont turn me into some sort of Alan, wouldnt you be pretty annoyed if they advertise it with a tin and you dont get one? I think they look nice, i also think they make the dvds look more like collectibles. If its against the law to like the tins..........then lock me up.
hiiiii
Well my order has finally come, My Mickey Mouse Vol I and Chronological Donald both had the tins,
which was unexpected.
but Vol II Mickey didn't, I feel like I have to look for that in a tin now to match.
