DVD Times now have information up about The Muppet Show on Region 2 DVD which will be coming on 14th November, although from the looks of things, not the furry case like on the Region 1 equivalent.

Disney advertised on uk tv last sunday buy 1 get 1 free.went to my high st woolworths only to be told they are not doing it,but the next town is.so went there & they weren't doing it either.nor mvc, w.h smith were, but had VERY few titles. apparently hmv were doing it but they are always the dearest to start with,so you dont save much. why send people on a false errand? i see on the web tesco are doing some titles but that is not what the tv advertised & i am not wasting any more time. do you know if morrisons sainsbury or asda are doing the promo? thanks

Yeah, that sucks, i hate it when shops do that .
I know that Sainsbury's is doing it, as least the one here is, but if you want a larger selection and can buy off the internet, Play.com are doing the sale as well.
thanks, but i still need to shop around as tarzan 2 is £17.99 there with bogof, but you can get it elsewhere for £ 7.99 on its own. of course, thats one i need. i wont pay more than i have to, considering we are roughly twice as dear on most titles as usa. i mostly import region 1 now as its cheaper but with bogof we would be more in line with prices. on with the quest to save a penny or two. thanks for your suggestion.
Well you'll be hunting for a long time if you are looking for disney titles to be cheap while the 'BOGOFF' offer is going on. They bump the prices up while the offer is on. The best place to go is tesco, play or WHSmiths. Dont go to HMV while the offer is on as they have all Disney titles at £19.99 right now.
Also as far as i know Asda dont do the offer, they just bump all the disney titles down to £9.99. Which is still a great offer.

My local Woolworths aren't doing the Buy One/Get One offer but have knocked all the prices to half price. I got Lilo & Stitch Special Ed for £10.99 and they had others like Alice In Wonderland, Dumbo, Tarzan SE for a simlar price. Also I'm sure they had Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie for £10.99 but not being a Pooh freak I might have been mistaken.
Asda had also reduced their prices in store with things like The Incredibles, Tarzan SE, Bambi for about a tenner.
If you're buying on line then www.play.com are doing the Buy One/Get One with their prices around £18 for the 2
Not sure if this has been discussed before lately but it seems that Disney have updated all of its dvds now with the new hologram, the circle one is no longer used. Though the old dvds still have the hologram on the back and not on the side....
Also it seems 'The Tigger Movie' is the only animted dvd still in print that uses the old widescreen logo.
