Disney Gift Card coupon? What's that? :?

I bet you had them Match Nebraska Furniture's Mega Mart - Kansas City location. Am I right? ;)
Disney Channel died when they stopped airing movies with Haley mills (Parent Trap and Pollyanna) and fun adventure movies like Swiss Family Robinson. R.I.P. the REAL Disney Channel. Date of Death: When the shows became teenie bopperish.

I had to buy it from Bestbuy after all. I went to Circuit City and they had 3 big empty Cinderella Displays and no gift sets. Target also sold out of the Gift Set.

I know that at least some people got the Disney DVD Insider, like TheLittleMerman. I haven't opened mine yet, as I'm slowly enjoying the DVD little by little...yesterday I just opened my gift set.

Nala, could you please tell me what the Cinderella Collector's tin looks like? Could you even post a picture of it?

Pre-Ordered on Amazon.com, but wasn't worth it!

Post by aristocrat2005 »

I pre-ordered on Amazon.com when I saw the $16.00 price, assuming it was something I'd only get if I pre-ordered a couple of months ahead. Instead, I started looking through circulars...Best buy, etc... and its basically that price! I checked today and it hasn't even shipped yet...I am probably not going to get it until the end of next week. I would be more patient, but it is Cinderella, after all!

I sent you a picture to the email but it bounced back. Anyway, I finally figured out how to post a picture. Here's the Cinderella Collector's Tin.

Nala, I hope you don't mind me taking your picture and hosting it on ImageShack; imagestation doesn't really show pictures unless you type in the LINK with .orig.jpg at the end.. Well, for me, I have problems with imagestation.

Shucks! That was a nice tin! I should've asked for that instead of The Incredibles tin..but I wanted Cinderella's gift set! :p

Anyways, I think the great price on the Collector's Gift set is from FRY's, which is $34.99. If you go to Best Buy with your 10% off coupon, it goes to $31.49. And when you have RZ or gift certificates, well...it gets cheaper. :)

Not at all. I download pictures onto Sony's ImageStation. I created a photo album there.

Hmm...$40 for 3 DVDs...rounds out to about $13 each. Pretty good deal.

But I've already got LATT, Bambi, and Cindy, so there goes the thought of 3 Platinums for $13 each.

We watched Bambi II a couple weeks ago, and it looks like a film worth keeping, so I'll probably buy that (or use it as the "free" one). But out of the remaining four, I'm not sure which ones to get. Recommendations?

Kronk's New Groove
Herbie: Fully Loaded
Sky High (though knowing my Target, they'll only have the craphackjobP&S and no Widescreens)
Valiant

Out of those, Kronk's New Groove is my favorite. It's a fun movie, and the opening song is so much catchier than "Perfect World" from the first TENG. It's so amusing, you'll forget there's hardly any Kuzco in it.

Lovin' the new sig, by the way. It gives me a chance to see quotes from threads I don't normally go to.

Pity -- the only three out of that list that I think are worth owning are the Platinums (Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp) and obviously I have those all already. Why couldn't they include all Disney DVDs? Then I could go pick up any remaining copies of Dumbo and Pooh, which I haven't gotten yet and need ASAP. *sigh* I need a less expensive hobby...

Hmm...

1. Stamps
2. Laundry Lint (intact in one swipe, otherwise trash it)
3. Blank DVDs
4. Gum Wrappers
5. Yarn
6. Matchbooks from swanky bars and hotels
7. Air (every time you hear an important event, take a jar, fill it with air, seal it, label it, and store it proudly on your shelf)
8. Hotel Pens
9. Any pens that are available for free at public buildings
10. Socks

LOL, thanks. Though it'd probably help too if I named the thread it's from for anyone (like you) who normally wouldn't read it. :P

Where is the cheapest place to buy Atlantis and Emperor CEs?

Post by TheSequelOfDisney »

Where is the cheapest place to buy these Collector Edition DVDs? I have been wanting to buy them but I can't find anything that is cheap for Atlantis and TENG. On DisneyShopping.com Atlantis is $29.99, and TENG is not even listed (I'm talking about the Ultimate Groove). But from what I've seen TENG is a little higher in price than Atlantis. Does anyone know anything on the prices of these DVDs that are cheaper than $29.99?

Disney Movie Club has them for $22.95. Not only is that a decent price for these to begin with, but it's also nice that you can buy these to fulfill your DMC agreement while SAVING money rather than spending $20 on an overpriced title (i.e. most of what they carry). You might even luck up and find some sort of free shipping deal.
