What Kind Of Car Do You Own???

Hopefully there isn't a thread like this but meh!!!

Well if you haven't figured it out yet I like cars. So I would be more than interested to hear what kind of cars you own especially if they're classics. I will accept motorcycles as well.

Well my friend's father or brother owns this nice 69' Chevelle Malibu. I think it has a 350 small block in it, I really don't know. But it's an awesome car.

My parent's own a 04' Honda Civic. I'm not really into the Honda's I grew up with Fords so I'm sticking with Fords, that's why I have a:

97' Ford Probe. I just recently installed a ram air intake but you won't see it in the pictures because I took the pictures before I installed it. But with that it makes that 2.0L I4 cylinder get up and go. I've installed a lot of after market parts to it as you can see, like the gauges, the radio, pedal covers, the yellow ignition coil and I just also installed some new high performance spark plugs. As for the center counsel, I painted that bright red, I'll probably paint some other things red or black because that's kind of the color scheme I'm going for. Oh and don't let me forget about the 400 watt sub-woofer and 480 watt amp in the trunk.

I drive a 1987 Chrysler New Yorker at the time being. I enjoy it. I'm currently looking into getting a Chrysler PT Cruiser, those cars are sooo cool.

I don't especially like cars. In fact, I feel they are death machines. One of the reasons it took me almost 6 years before I got my license. But anyway, I currently drive my mom's old Dodge Caravan. I think it is '96 or '97, I really have no idea, I'm totally clueless about cars.
The PT Cruisers I used to think where really cool when they came out, until I rode in one and felt it to be tiny and way cramped inside. I was really dissapointed and hated them ever since.
If I could have a dream car though, it would totally be a Volvo wagon from the '80's I think. Those boxy ones with the hard square headrests, man, I love those. I have friends who have/had Volvo's and I'm so jealous.
Either that or a mini-cooper, I dig them for being so neat looking. Although they are also probably tiny inside, and I would be quite scared driving in something so small next suv's or pretty much anything.
And to ramble further, hybrids are totally rad to me. All automobiles should be hybrids, if not totally gas free!
Anyway, that's enough out of me, someone who doesn't even like cars.

Uhm, I'm not really into cars so long as they can get me from Point A to B then C.

But OMGosh, Zoltack, when I saw those pictures, it reminded me of when Ryan was busy fixing his car back in the day installing all those "unecessary" things. Well, they were unecessary in my opinion, but the car was nice after.

I'd very much like to have a blue Mini Cooper, especially after seeing it in The Italian Job. In the meantime, I've got a white Camry that we call Souffle but I don't drive it because I don't have a license yet. Jane has a blue Rav4 that we call Blue Stitch. And Kram really doesn't have a car yet. And of course, the family's had the white Ford Expedition since 1997, which we used during long trips, like road trips to Florida.

Our family's car history:

early 1980s-mid 1990s: A grey compact car I don't remember the make or model of, but it was our family's first car, and Dad would always drive that one to work, so we didn't do much driving in it.
1986-2004: A Toyota van that looked like it could have been a shuttlecraft in Star Trek. Many a roadtrip was taken in that van, and we donated it somewhere. God, I miss that van!

1991-2002/2003: A Montero that I didn't particularly like at all, I always associate it with the times I vomited in the car when I was younger. We used it frequently until we got Blue Stitch, and after an accident it wasn't much good to us anyway, so we had to sell it.

1997-present: The white Ford Expedition that replaced our van on road trips. The last time I remember using it was August 2004, when we picked up Jane in Florida.

2001/2002-present: Blue Stitch. I practice driving on this car the most.

2005-present: Souffle. Funny story. They bought Souffle in February, but somehow didn't tell me about it, so when I come home to visit in April, my dad takes me to Souffle, and I'm wondering, "Why'd you rent a car?" and he says, "No, it's our car!"

I own a Toyota Matrix '04 while my parents own Chevrolet Suburban 1999 and 2000.

I had a 1966 Mustang. Everything on it was original. It was white with blue interior. It had drum brakes, no air conditioning, the heater was a joke, and the original AM radio (ironically it only picked up one radio station that only played 60's music). I wrecked it the beginning of my senior year in high school. The radiator busted, and the frame bent. I've got pictures of it somewhere.

I now have a 1999 Mercury Cougar. It's red with grey interior. It has everything I could want: air conditioning, a heater that works, a cd player, and reliable breaks. I plan on driving it until it dies. I'll probably get another Mustang when that happens, just not an old one.

For my college graduation in 2004 my parents bought me a 2005 Toyota Corolla (for some reason the 05s come out in May 2004 ).

I absolutely LOVE it! It's an LE and silver (a brighter silver than the 04 version). I'm commuting about 120 miles a day and it's getting 38 mpg right now- so I'm pretty happy.

My mom owns a 2000 Honda Accord and my dad owns a 2002 Honda Odyssey. Previously we owned (well, we still do but it isn't used much) a 1992 Toyota Camry. It was my mom's initially and then I got it after we gave my 1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciara to my great uncle when his died. So my first car was the Oldsmobile and I got it from my grandma (when she got a new one).

Needless to say I like my 05 Corolla (w/ a 6 disc changer ) MUCH better!

I personally don't have a car as of now. I only just got my provisional licence the other day (after the long road to getting it...don't accidently tick the box on the form that pretty much states that you're blind ). However, once I'm a fully certified driver after my tests etc, I think I'll just use my Dad's car (aka the lesser of the two cars in our family ), which is a Ford KA. I don't intend to use a car all the time (I try to walk/cycle/use public transport as much as possible), so I'd be best borrowing a close family member's car from time to time rather than wasting £500+ on something that I'm not sure I will use to the max.

I have a 1999 Chevy Prizm (kissin' cousin of the Toyota Corolla) and got it when I started going to college since I was a commuter and needed a way to get around all the time. Nice dark green with a grayish interior. Not much to it but it gets me from point A to B without anything falling apart. I didn't really name it--call it Leaf Muncher since it's sort of a "green" car in terms of fuel mileage.

Alright so we have one person who use to own a classic. cj what were you thinking wreaking your Mustang like that?! 1966, that was a first generation car man!!! Gotta take care of your cars especially one like that because if you fully restore it... it could be worth at least $50,000. That is if you put a big 429 large block engine with a super charger and a cold air induction. You're killing me Smalls! You're killing me!!!

I see a lot of you have Hondas... Just kidding! Hondas don't look very nice. I mean the body style it's just too boxy but the enigines they put in those cars are awesome. I think a car should have fine curves like a pretty girl.

As for Chrysler... they're ok, not a big fan of them. I don't like PT Crusiers or the Prawler, they just look ridiculous.

Oh and for those of you who want MINI-Coopers or Cooper S's. Good for you!!! Those are really nice cars. They're more expensive than a new Mustang believe it or not.

BTW - RJKD23 my mom tells me the same thing. You know what I tell her... "It's a guy thing." I mean my car does look very nice with all the after market parts in it. It's a hobby you know everybody needs to have one or we would all be boring.

Now I can't read your license plate number which is good but in the future make sure if it is readable in the picture that you blotch it out. I know we're all friends here but still there are other people who come onto this site besides us.

Oh yeah, I need a name for my car. Like The Merth Mobile... but that's already taken. Hmmmm any suggestions anyone? Oh and I realize I don't have a picture showing the outside of my car so here's a car similar to mine but it isnt.

I just got a new car 3 weeks ago. It still smells new!! It's a 2006 Ford Focus in sonic blue. I love it. I named it Joe. My husband has "The Beast". It's a blue 1993 Ford F150. I named it that because when I drive it I feel so small...I'm 5'2" so the truck is big compared to me.

My car history.....1985 Ford Tempo, 1988 Ford Taurus, 1993 Oldsmobile Cutless, 1998 Ford Contour, & now my brand new 2006 Ford Focus. My husband has had too many to mention...the truck & Focus are the first ones we've owned together.

Yes I have driven a PT Cruiser a lot before, my brother Evan recently bought one and I drive him around quite a bit. I like compact cars. I had a early 90's Caddilac Deville for a while which I liked at first, but I stopped liking it. To hard to drive, to long.

Drum brakes dude! You can't stop quick enough. Another car came out of no where in front of me. I creamed the entire driver side of their car. I had to let go of the mustang, since I didn't get enough money from the insurance company to fix it. It was a sad day, my dad almost cried. He still whines about the loss of that car every-time he sees a Mustang.
