Yes it was on DVD but it's now OOP. It will be released next year around fall. And yes is very awesome movie and recommended for purchase!

I never really liked Lion King all that much, but Lion King 2 is one of the best DTV sequels (up there with B&tB X'mas and Lady and the Tramp 2)!

In my opinion, one of the FINEST direct-to-video Disney sequels ever.
It is OOP and might be a tad pricey on eBay, but it is well worth the effort if you manage to find a reasonably priced copy.

I've seen the movie. It is a alright movie. I just want to know if the dvd is any good. like the features and everything..

The DVD is pretty basic - there's a trailer (which is more in that department than The Lion King got, actually) and a music video. The video and audio quality is quite good, but it's not enhanced for 16x9 television sets, and there's some room for improvement. I'd just wait for August, if I were you, rather than paying whatever the asking price is now and then having to ugprade in 10 months.
