It was my first time watching Desperate Housewives and I thought it was a okay show to watch it's not like the best show on television or anything.
But it was a new favorite for me. I'll keep watching it just like I did with Lost.

Great review but one little thing
6. Running To Stand Still (43:19) (Originally aired November 7, 2005).
But that review realy makes me wonder if I should get it or get it for other persons who like this show.

What? I'm confused. First of all, that episode was aired on November 7, 2004. Second, the show is addicting, and is great fun. You would really like it, if you give the show a chance.

Well, I figured after the season 1 finale that Zach was Mike's son, but, even though I'm a straight Male, I'll admit Mike's far to good looking, and Zach's real mom as well, to be his parents. My favorite moment was when Bree stood up at the funeral and you knew the tie was commin off! Oh Yeah! Bree Rox!

Maybe Zach and Andrew were switched at birth...

Just saw the first episode of the season. Great episode, but not the best! The funeral was great, but I've come to expect nothing less out of Bree! :D Overall, a well-rounded episode that still delivers the same old fun and mischiveous the original season delivered!

4/5!

Have any of you who bought season one of "DH" on DVD called the number I listed to get your episode booklet? Just curious how you were treated on the phone and what they told you about the reason for it being missing from your box set.

Haven't had time to call the number yet, but is the number you gave (1-800-477-2811) a general Customer Service line? Because I still need to do disc replacement for my second disc from Golden Girls Season 1, and I'm hoping to kill two birds with one stone if I have to call this number for the booklet.

I believe it is. With all the options they give you, I think I heard "for Disc Replacement or repair" as one of the options. I don't know if you can have the General Inquiries person connect you. It won't hurt to ask though.

Thanks, I'll give them a call tomorrow/today.

A few problems:

1. It doesn't play on any DVD player except my portable
2. On the portable, I can't use the Play All function
3. It only plays the first five episodes

I'm guessing that there's a layer problem, which explains why I can't play the other 4 episodes on the disc, they may be on the layer that can't play for some reason.

I called, and spoke with a very nice lady. She didn't offer any explanation as to why the set didn't contain the chapter insert, but she said she was sorry I didn't get one, got my information, and stated that one would be mailed to me.

Episode 2 of Season 2.

All in all, a solid episode. I really dislike Rex's mother, that much is for sure. She is really trying to make Bree miserable, and I hope that Bree shows her the full wrath she is capable of! I am SO glad she slapped Rex's mother! I would have done it in the first episode!

Susan and Mike. What a mess! I mean, come on. Get together, already!

Betty Applewhite. She's certainly got something going on, and I can't wait to find out what it is.

So, for those of you who watched, what are your thoughts?

Not only was I glad that Bree slapped Rex's mother, but I'm hoping in the future, something bad will happen to her. And even to George, that jerk.

After watching the first two seasons, my favorites are Lynette and Bree!

Oh, did you see the *future* previews? Mrs. Applewhite's prisoner tries to get out! Oooh, this will be a good season. But I'm more interested in what happens with Bree and her stalker, George. Ugh, I hate him so much.

Watched eppy 2 last night with the 'rents, who I didn't think would enjoy the show!

I don't like George. They should've killed him last year instead of Rex.

Anyone have any guesses as to who's chained up in Applewhite's house?

I really don't think it is Zach. The Applewhites were moving in, while Zach was holding Susan hostange. At first, I thought it might be Paul (Zach's father), but again, the Applewhites were moving in while Mike had kidnapped Paul, with the intentions to kill him.

Betty mentions that having this person chained up in the basement, and not talking to him, "is part of his punishment", and that listening to all the racket, "is part of mine". So, I assume that this is someone that is part of their family.
