I actually think it's better! And hey, at least the cover doesn't have a big number slapped all over it! :P

I personally HATE it. The Red Theme just doesnt do the movie justice, and I dont like the characters just standing there. FIX IT!!!

P.S. Jessie shouldnt be on the spine. Woody and Buz should be on the spines (One on each side) so that you can put 1 and 2 next next to each other and Buzz and Woody would be next to each other. It's not gonna look good with Woody and Jessie or Buzz and Jessie, should be Buzz and Woody, get what Im saying?

Don't worry, Buzz and Woody will appear on the cover of Toy Story 3! ;)

WOW!! I don't believe some of you don't like the cover for TS2. I think it is so nice, and I actually love the red backround. I hope they don't touch this cover art, and leave it the way it is!!! Everyone though, has their own opinions, and it's ok I guess if they don't like it. But give us some reason why the cover is bad?

The cover fits the theme of the TS 10th Anniversary, which I figured it would. So, considering that I hate the new TS cover art, I'm glad that the cover for TS2 looks a bit better than I had expected...Although I'm not sure red was the best choice...

Don't find anything wrong with this new cover art for "Toy Story 2". I think everyone who dislikes it is being too nitpicky and if they think they could do a better job, I am sure Luke can get you the address where you can submit your choice of artwork for the cover.

Has anyone every noticed that in the interview sequences (on the the extras discs in UTB) that it isn't Tom Hanks or Tim Allen doing the voices of Woody and Buzz? I hope that they change this for the new edition. It just bugs me that they try using someone who thinks he can imitate those voices do the interviews. I know it is just for show sake, but I am sure than Tom and Tim were available to do those voice-overs.

December 26th is going to be a crazy day at Best Buy or Wal-Mart. You know that they are going to have anyone else's price beat big time. $16.87 is a pretty good price and I think Costco and Sam's Club both had the 10th Anniversary Edition at $19.22.........at least that's what they had it for here in Kansas.

I had a feeling it would be red, don't know why. Looks very nice. I hope they don't change it.

Although it is in line with the Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition cover art, which I really wasn't impressed with, I like the cover art for Toy Story 2: Special Edition, much better. I like the red background, and the fact that there are more characters, which are posed better.

I can't wait for this release!

As I said in another thread about the Toy Story 2: Special Edition cover art, I happen to like this one MUCH better than the Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition.

That cover is AWFUL!!!!!

3 months ago, I would've told you I hated that Toy Story cover, but now that I own it, it really started to grow on me. It actually looks kinda cool when you look at it.

But I just find it hard to ever like this ugly cover! The most "Loomis is a dress" like cover indeed!

TOO MUCH RED!!! I mean there is no red in during most of the movie. I mean it just looks ridiculous! And Buzz and Woody, don't look that good either, Jessie and Bullseye look fine, but as for Woody and Buzz, they seriously need to change their position(their cheeks also look a bit too red).

At least there's some continuity between the covers for TS 1 and TS 2. By all means, I certainly preferred the first silver cover. Anyways..

Overall Buzz, Woody, Jessie and Bullseye look great but the red background kills the whole DVD.

Still waiting for Gargoyes Season 2 Volume 1 artwork.

The Dutch cover of Toy Story 1 is the same, but we have a slightly different cover for Toy Story 2:

Very good cover. It doesn't have the awkward feel to the TS 10th anniversary edition.

Dang is that childish, it looks similar but it's even worse than Toy Story 10 Ann. It looks like a poster I could hang on a wall in my little cousin's room. But as someone said before, it's at least consistent with the other cover. This is another movie I'll be picking up though, the DTS and High Bit Rate transfer is tempting. And I heard the film got positive reviews by critics.

EDIT: I just saw the older DVD cover and is blank! I wonder if the Disney Company heard complaints from fans and that's why they decided to make these covers so fruity? :?
