Something that has irritated me for some time now is all the diffrent designs that the covers of the animated classics has. First I have a few Limited Editions then I have many Gold Editions. Snow White, Lion King, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast are in 2 disc editions and they have diffrent covers. Then there are a few with no spesific uniformity covers at all.

But then I have found a great website that have custome covers that you either could order or just download for a small amount of money.

There are a watermark with the address of the website that ruins a little but you can clearly see how it is.

What I like the most is that this cover is numbered afther what number the film is in the line of "classics". Lion King is number 32.

There is a man called Chris Elder that has made all these, and the two only that is not made are Bambi and Cinderella. But I guess those will come when they are out on DVD.

I for one is going to order these. I can only imagine how my Disney line of DVDs would look like. 8)

these are awesome! thanks for the cool link karlsen. i wish disney would release the line of numbered animated features in the silver boxes with the original theatrical poster art for the cover. it's historic and the cover art is beautiful.

Normally, I don't like to use these, since they're not original. But I may put one in with my next Depot order. :)

I just ordered an insert for my Animal House dvd, this site is a big rip-off though. Their products are way overpriced... almost $10 CAN (w/ shipping) for a photocopied piece of paper, I am expecting to see some serious quality!

I've ordered covers from DVDCoverArt before and have been very pleased with what I've gotten. The Disney animated classics series created by Chris Elder is pretty good... not perfect, but does solve the problem of uniformity.

You can always download up to 10 credits for free and then take the files to your local Kinko's to print, but you'll pay a little there as well. The key to remember is that these are high-resolution covers, thus you'll want them printed on a color laser printer, not just an ink jet.

The price is not near nice if you just order one copy and get it shipped to you.

But you have to remember that the reason for this is not an overcharging store but more what shipping costs are and what the coverart itself cost.

This website has started just of as a service to dv-depot's own customers and the printing service that they have are just to cover what their costs are.

But as some Tannerman sead you can just download it if you only are looking for one particular and then go to your local copy store.
