Yeah, it's a lame movie, but it is £7 at so many places now, so its more like 'something to keep the kids occupied' than a wanted purchase.

Well seeing Robots at #1 is no surprise really. :)
But im surprised at The Pacifier still in the top 5.....i cant even work out how it got to #2 with little promotion for the dvd and film itself.

And i really cant see Shark Tale going out of the charts until at least March 2006.

Yeah, it looks like Shark Tale and Shrek 2 are really popular, but like Enchantress said it seems as though retailers are just trying to give them away. In actual fact I've seen Shrek 2 for as little as £5.99 and Shark Tale for as little as £4.99. I mean they're bargain bucket titles in virtually every store!

Sin City is overrated. Original style but not-so-original stories to base it on!

:o I can't believe Shark Tale is STILL on the charts :? Especially with better movies out. It doesn't seem as if the 2 for 1 Disney deal has had as much of an impact on the charts as i thought it would.

I hope to see Cinderella at the top of that chart next week Ichabod

Here's an idea on how to stop Shark Tale getting in the Top 40 DVDs; why don't all the British Ultimate Disney members meet up and go to different parts of the country, where we break into every HMV/Virgin Megastore and steal all the copies of the movie? That would stop everyone from buying the movie for sure. :D

Just one problem. They must have boxes and boxes of Shark Tale stacked up in the warehouses the amount they have sold so far.......
We need to come up with a better plan.
Anyone got any matches?

Well it's another week with lots of Disney in the charts. Both "Bambi" and "Mary Poppins" did very well and also "National Treasure" made a reappearance. But perhaps the most surprising of this weeks results in the appearance of "The Nightmare Before Christmas" at 13. Would the hype around Corpse Bride increase sales as well? i haven't seen anything about it that doesn't mention NBC.

Well Cindy does'nt officially make the top spot. However I think there is a chance the Cinderella DVD did shift the most copies. Hardly surprising Batman Begins beat Cindy to the top spot. Ah well #2 is still a great position. :)
I wonder why Stitch The Movie has re-entered. :?
