All Minami would reveal was that the game would be a sequel to the film and mix elements of hard-core action and puzzle solving. A short gameplay trailer shown on the game revealed graphics that capture the look of Tim Burton's film nicely. The trailer offered glimpses of locales around Halloween Town, which looked very close to their film counterparts. The short trailer also gave us looks at Jack Skellington, his faithful dog Zero, Sally, and nemesis Oogie Boogie. Some new faces popped up as well, including a pack of possibly unfriendly skeletons heading for town that Jack confronts.

No news on the rumour that it will include all-new songs by Danny Elfman. However look at those pics. Must have this game!

Equip Firaga Rings on everyone. Have all necessary survival and MP-related abilites (Second Wind, Second Chance, MP Haste, MP Rage, MP Gift for Goofy). Have Aero/ra/ga at all times. Shortcut the Aero and/or Cure spells, you'll need them.

Get behind Cherabog's head, lock on, and smack it like crazy (because when Chernabog pulls off his firebreath attack, he can either attack right to left, or left to right, but not both ways). If you get caught in Chernabog's eruption attack, you'd better heal yourself quickly because it's unavoidable at close range. When Chernabog's health is low (read: green bar), he'll start attacking with homing spheres on Sora (This is where Aeroga will help, as it can deflect the spheres)

If you're having difficulty with airborne combat, I'd suggest heading over to Neverland and fight the Heartless on the Ship's Deck until you get the hang of things.

well the problem is that i cant equip any mp stuff cause it says i dont have enough of it how do i raise it up? i have all the key chains and finished all the levels so i have no clue, i wont the cups except the hades cup and the platinum and the other one.

Not enough AP? You can raise it by consuming an AP Up item (raises AP by one, and you can synthesize more if necessary), or equip AP-enhancing accessories (such as the Ability Stud which you can buy or the Crystal Crown, which you must synthesize).

Or you can unequip other abilities (such as Treasure Magnet and/or Lucky Strike if you're going to be battling bosses or playing the tournaments at the Colisuem-- it's not like you can get any of the bosses or any of the enemies at the Colisuem to drop items) and re-equip them later.

The only other way to raise AP is to keep leveling up. (This will take some time, depending on the choices you answered to Tidus, Wakka, and Selphie at the beginning of the game, and on level up you won't always be guaranteed a "Max AP" growth stat.)

Yes, it looks like this will be a PS2 Exclusive, but as time has shown, such exclusives are rare these days (The Star Wars Rouge Squadron games are being ported to the XBOX for example)

Just bumping this up.

The UK Playstation magazine PSM2 has a free DVD this month which shows actual footage from the Nightmare Before Christmas game and it looks stunning - especially Oogie Boogie and his lair. It really is close to the movie.

Jack has a wierd sort of elongated arm whip attack which looks somewhat out of place, but the backgrounds and characters look superb. Can't wait.

(The disc has a lot of other footage from games on it, including Silent Hill 4: The Room - the reason I bought it in the first place).

Well, this is finally coming out next week (on the XBOX too!). Is anyone else excited? Is it already out in America (most games usually are before the UK release). Is it good?

I haven't heard of this game at all. Just checked Gamestop and it says a Oct 11th release date, and it will be on XBox and PS2. If my XBox holds up I might have to give this a rent.
