They shouldn't make a sequel!

They shouldn't even have made the original!

Just messing, the original was alright, i wouldn't shout and scream about it, but it was far from being a classic, but hey! if thats what the kids like, they might as well get it :(

Well since both Shrek 2 and SharkTale were awful, I decided to skip this.

The movie actually got really poor reviews, yet it's a HIT! :o :headshake:

madagascar is a mediocre movie. Penquins are cool though, like puss n' boots in the otherwise stupid shrek 2.
Reviews of Dreamworks CGI films
Antz-can't remember it good enough
Shrek- 4 and a half or 5 out of five stars
Shark Tale-2 out of 5 stars
Shrek 2- 2 and a half out of 5 stars
Madagascar-2 out of 5 stars.
So you can see other than Shrek 1, I am not a big dreamworks fan.

I took my little cousin to see the movie this summer when it came out. I wasn't real sure about it, but I took him because thats what he wanted to see. I was surprised and thought it was pretty good. The penguins were great. :)

I liked the Shrek movies (1 is better than 2 in my opinion), but I thought Shark Tale was horrible. I don't know, but it was just blah... not funny, not entertaining.

I thought Madagascar was a big improvement over Shark Tale.

DreamWorks animation is full of excessive movement. I noticed in Madagascar that everyone seemed like they were hyped up on caffeine the whole movie. It's frustrating to watch. If I thought pop culture references were funny, I'd probably love DreamWorks' animated films. Unfortunately, I've already heard it all from the Simpsons, Saturday Night Live, and the Daily Show anywhere from two to five years before it hits the DreamWorks screen. Kids loved Madagascar - but kids also loved the Incredibles, and so did I. I won't be buying Madagascar, just like I didn't buy Shrek 2 or Shark Tale. Don't care.

*Groans* why oh why. The only animated Dream Works film I plan to see this year is Wallace and Grommit. And that's because It's in the hands of people I trust that will make it good. But, let's face it, kids will enjoy any crap as long as there is a disqusting fart and burp joke in it. It's just the sad truth.

In this Yahoo news story, it says that Jada Pinkett-Smith will be back too. Doesn't mention anything about David Schwimmer but he'll probably be back since he has nothing else better to do.
