I had been planning mine since I discovered I would need a certain amount of good posts before I could get one.

That picture of Roger is from a poster advertising the last of the Roger Rabbit shorts--Trail Mix-Up.

My new avatar is a painting that I'm going to buy by a very talented and lovely artist named Heather Hannoura. :) It's called "Broken Buildings". Isn't it gorgeous?

I changed mine...
I saw the new Bambi Pics on the site and I couldn't resist. I got one question though.
What is GP doing to Bambi? Sure it says it here but I don't think so. ;)
And don't tell me they're going to start singing in this movie. Don't you dare tell me that! :x ;)
Because if they do I'm going to take the DVD out in my back yard, fling it in the air and take my 12 gauge with buck shoot and blast the hell out of it!

Alexander Gould can sing now? :o I really don't think he fits the role of Bambi.

Yeah, I know that's why if there is singing, you know what... I'll just strap a stick of dynamite on it and blow it up to where it doesn't exist anymore. You can deffenitly see how strong I feel about the whole movie. I swear if they mess it up..... :brick:
Isidour wrote:Man! great minds do think equal
Of corse they do!
Don't worry, I'll keep it for a few weeks then you can have it or you can have it now. I don't see that it really matters... but, you know.
Oh wait you said siggy. Okay it's all good. I need to learn how to read better.
BTW- Nice siggy... but lets save that for the "Explain your Siggy" thread.

You can bet it will somehow someway find a way into our family--if not just to watch. Sometimes we do that with "questionable films"-ones we aren't sure we want to own. The last one that got that treatment was Shark Tale and glad it was because we don't have that one. :D I wouldn't personally buy it either.

I better not see Thumper singing. I'm going to have Roger take his big feet and give it to him to knock some sense in that little guy--you don't need to sing to do well with audiences. :p

Well, in the original movie they tried to keep the realistisity (spelling???) by not having the characters talk so much. But I think they focus more on the characters motion. For instance, not having them stand on their hind quarters as though they walk like a human. But you know sometimes a wish they did talk a little more because that develops the story better. I mean they sung in TLK but they had talented people doing it. I'm not sayint tha Patrick Stewart doesn't have any talent, but if he starts singing... I'm gone! :)
That's another thing that pisses me off is because it seems to me that they're going to incorperate more human behaivor in the characters. And I already discussed this here. Where we should probably continue to discuss cuz this is not appropriate for this thread.

It seems that the animation in this new Bambi makes him look more toony than in the original film. Not saying he doesn't look realistic, but certainly not as realistic with those huge eyes. Agree? Disagree?

Agreed!

That is the same thing I said when I saw these pics, each character looks more cartoonish!

Oh yeah! And Ronno's got those little nubs too. That's priceless!!!

But you know buck's antlers don't start to grow until spring and they mostly grow alot during the summer with velvet covering them up. Eventually they'll shed the velvet off and all you see is the bone. And they really don't start growing after the deer is fully mature. So after about a year or so after birth. So there goes another point lost for authenticity. All right!

Yeah, that's where Disney screwed up on the original Bambi--deer don't have full grown antlers in the spring. :P

Where are you guys finding all these pictures from Bambi II?
