Help me form my Broadway season schedule......

Post by Prince Eric »

Now that the 2005-2006 theater schedule has been announced in my city, I need to form my own season ticket so I can get a discount, as opposed to buying the tickets individually for each show. Suprisingly, I haven't seen a good many of what this season has to offer. I promise I won't bite your head off about your suggestions/opinions/musical tastes.

Broadway in Houston
Evita
Wicked
Annie
Golda's Balcony
The Lion King

Theater Under the Stars
110 In The Shade
Beauty and the Beast
Bombay Dreams
Cats
Chicago
Dr. Doolittle

I need to pick three shows from the first group and four from the second. Thanks a lot guys!

I have seen Annie on Broadway in New York, probably 25 years ago but it was outstanding
I hear good things about Evita, and The Lion King

SO I would see them

Umm... in my previous post, I said Dr. Dolittle... but I think seeing Bombay Dreams would be a better bet. I heard a commercial about Dr. Dolittle, and to be quite honest, it sounded somewhat cheesy. I've heard Bombay Dreams is very good, and it's cool if you like to learn about the Indian culture.

And no, i havent heard anything about 110 in the shade.

Yes, Bombay Dreams is one of the few on the least that I have seen. I enjoyed it, but was hoping to get some feedback on some that I didn't see. My motto in the theater world is that you only need to see a show once, and then move on! THis rings especially true for me, because I'm not of the privileged class that can just drop a hundred dollars when every show comes to town. Thanks, though!
