Um, it isn't on my list. Never seen, so I don't plan on buying it until I do see it and if I like it. Or are you just insisting that everyone put it on their list?

Well, posting personal choices seems a bit irrelevant as each person has their own preferences as to what they like, and I think that that is what's wrong with the movies.com list. It doesn't seem to have an objectional reasoning for why the movies listed are listed.

A good definetive list of the top ten movies shouldn't be one person's particular interests but rather a collective interest of the entire buying populous.

Any way, I'm not going to bother to comprise a list of what I think should the list should be because I'm a bit ignorant of ALL the dvd's comming out this fall, but I do believe the Cinderella should atleast be on the list. I would would even put it on instead of Toy Story. Toy Story has already had multiple releases, and atleast 1 really good one! Cinderella had not. Wizard of Oz, Titanic, and (maybe, though I'm not sure) Ben-Hur, may have already got a release, but theirs SE releases this fall are going to blow away their previous release4s, so I do believe they deserve their spot on the list.

Star Wars will certainly be a noteable dvd this fall, but I believe the 6 movie collection release slated for 2007 will be a 100 times bigger...

A personal release for me would be Friends season 10, but they don't seem to be listing tv realeases...

Anyway, Cinderella should definately be on that list!

It's a guilty pleasure of mine. It's not a good movie in any sense, but I just can't get enough of it (I enjoy Uma Thurman and Alicia Silverstone in almost every movie they do). And I would like to see Joel Schumacher try to defend what he did in the commentary. :P

2) Cinderella: PE 2 DISC Set

3) Rocky and Bullwinkle Season 3*

4) HeMan Season 1: Vol 1

5) Full House Season 2

6) The Polar Express 2 Disc Special Edition (I LOVE extra features and I am not going to get a single disc when I can get a 2 DISC SE) I've been waiting for the DVD since I saw it in the theatre! They should have released it for "Christmas in July" type release. That would have been cool.

dont' forget ben-hur (4 disc)
Dear lord.

Any reason why you singled out Aaron, and only Aaron?

Ben-Hur used to be a favorite of mine (though it doesn't hold a candle to The Ten Commandments), but because of your continuous shoving down people's throats that it's the best movie ever and we all need to get the 4-disc, I've lost some respect for the movie. Why not give it a rest?

Yes, these should be really good. At least in my opinion, they have a lot to live up to. So they'd better be good. Each has been some longtime coming...

I may as well give my own list seeing as everyone else has, although the last five or so I'm just saying would be nice to have, but I might skip them as I won't have enough money.

1. Cinderella: Platinum Edition
I have the gift set on order and have recently become increasingly excited about this set. I'm hoping that it makes the Top 10 DVD lists at a number of sites, especially the DVD Movie Guide one, as no Disney title was present in the list last year (though Alice in Wonderland just missed out getting in ).

2. The Simpsons: Season 6
Well, it's already out in USA, but it's not out in Region 2 until October so there! :P)

3. The Wizard of Oz: 3 Disc Collector's Edition
I must admit that my excitement for this has just been eclipsed by my excitement for Cinderella and The Simpsons, but I think that my half term week will be devoted partially to this!

4. Walt Disney Treasures: Disney Rarities
I've always been partial to random shorts that have nothing to do with anything else, so I will definately get this. I may just ask it for Christmas, though, so I'll have to give teh parents advanced warning.

5. Toy Story: 10th Anniversary Edition
I will definately have to get this set. This is one of my all time favourite films, the set has been getting good reviews and I can't wait to buy this DVD.

6. Walt Disney Treasures: The Chronological Donald
I must say that I'm not as excited about this as I am the Rarities DVD, yet I have some anticipation in this set.

7. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
I enjoyed this movie when I saw it in cinemas, so I'm most likely to nab this one soon (maybe at Christmas or in the sales actually). Also...the UK gets an extra disc. Gutted, you silly Yankees!

8. Toy Story 2: Special Edition
I am also a fan of this film, so I will be getting it. I'm quite bothered that a press release isn't coming though. I hope it's not delayed, as BVHE have been doing this lately with the Stories, Secrets DVD and the Region 1 Chicago SE. :(

9. Duck Tales
I enjoyed this show growing up, so I might get this set.

10. The Simpsons: Season 7
I will definately get this, yet I will probably wait for the Region 2 set instead, as I'm too lazy to import this one. :p

11. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: 2 Disc Deluxe Edition
I enjoyed this movie, so I should really get this DVD when it comes out, though again, I may wait for the sales.

12. Chip n' Dale: Rescue Rangers
I also enjoyed this one, but I may not get it if I don't have enough money.

13. Titanic: 4 Disc Collector's Edition
Ha ha! The UK gets more discs than the USA again. :p But I still don't know if I should get this...

14. The Muppet Christmas Carol: Special Edition
I'm glad that this is getting a rerelease, as I would like this movie on DVD, and I'm glad that a widescreen version is going to be available unlike the cropped previous release.

15. Ben Hur: 4 Disc Collector's Edition
I am just putting Ben Hur on this "I want..." list just to keep Alan from starting to bug me. :P

I might go for that Titanic special release. That lame one I have doesn't really cut it--this was one of the most technical films and I want to see how it was made. :D

I'm thinking about Rescue Rangers season 1 as well but since I don't hold a job while full time in college I can only splurge so much. :P
