This whole "joke" is getting old now. I know repetition is one of the laws of comedy, but really.dvdjunkie wrote:How about editing the title of this forum and add the word DR. to the title and those of us who are into rock and roll music and The Who will not be confused with whoever this other "Who" is.
That would solve the whole problem, and memory doesn't even enter into it.
Why don't you simply look for theads with the word "THE" in front? It is THE WHO after all, not "WHO".

Finally, all the extras are revealed:
Commentaries on all 13 episodes from cast and crew including Russell T Davies, Billie Piper, John Barrowman, Mark Gatiss and Simon Callow • Billie Piper’s Video Diary - On Set With Billie • Making Doctor Who with Russell T Davies • Waking The Dead – Mark Gatiss video diary • Special Doctor Who Confidential disc with 13 specially edited episodes plus an exclusive episode 14 containing behind-the-scenes footage from The Christmas Invasion • Exclusive featurettes: Destroying the Lair; Mike Tucker’s Mocks of Balloons; Designing Doctor Who,; Laying Ghosts – The Origins of The Unquiet Dead; Deconstructing Big Ben, The Adventures of Captain Jack • BBC Breakfast Interview with Christopher Eccleston • Trailers • Exclusive 5.1 Surround Sound • Collector’s booklet including an introduction by Russell T Davies • English SDH subtitles for all video elements • Audio Description for all episodes
So initial estimates seem to be true - its about 14 hours of supplements. The commentaries are approx. 9 hours, the Dr Who Confidential Cut-Downs are about 3 hours and the featurettes seem to be close to or just over 2 hours (not all have been passed by the BBFC yet). Sadly, there appears to be no production text subtitle tracks.
According to Steve Roberts of the Doctor Who Restoration Team, there literally isn't any more room on any of the discs for more extras!
"There isn't any room to squeeze any more on any of the discs, as I understand it - so if it isn't on the list, it won't be on the disc.
The Confidentials don't contain the archive footage AFAIK - they are all concerned only with new series footage."

Captain Jack for 'Doctor Who' spinoff
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/article/ds25265.html
John Barrowman is to reprise his role as Doctor Who's Captain Jack for a new drama spinoff.
Torchwood, described as a "sci-fi paranoid thriller", will be aimed at a post-watershed audience and is said to have an "organic" link to Doctor Who. The concept of Torchwood - a renegade group of investigators - will be seeded in the upcoming Christmas special and second series but, for now at least, no crossover stories are planned between the two shows.
The 13-episode series, also penned by Russell T Davies, will begin filming early 2006 in Cardiff for transmission later in the year on BBC Three.
"Torchwood is a British sci-fi paranoid thriller, a cop show with a sense of humour," said Davies. "It's dark, wild and sexy, it's the X Files meets This Life. It's a stand-alone series for adult audiences which will have its own unique identity. I have just begun working on the scripts with a team of writers and cannot wait to see the results."
Stuart Murphy, controller of BBC Three, added: "The renegades investigate human and alien crime, as well as alien technology that has fallen to Earth. Torchwood is sinister and psychological - Russell was really keen to play with your head - as well as being very British and modern and real. But at the centre of the drama are warm, human relationships and the overcoming of adversity."
Barrowman said he was "absolutely thrilled" about the new show. "It's going to be a dark, wild and sexy roller-coaster ride. Working again with Russell T Davies, Julie Gardner and the BBC is like hooking up with family again. I can't wait to explore Captain Jack even more."
Its on the BBC site now:
