Your sleep habits?
I sleep alot. I sleep so much I miss out on life. I am a big Night Owl, it is not uncommon not to go to asleep after 5:30 am and to wake up after 4:00 Pm.

Hi
When I darn well feel like it, lol.
I didn't get to sleep until 4:30 AM last night, talking to my lovey. Than got up at 8:00 this morning.

Since I usually don't get off work until 1 a.m. or later, and it takes about fifteen minutes to get home, I am usually in bed around 2 a.m. or so. I usually get up around 9 a.m. except on Saturday and Sunday when the wife and I sleep in until 10 or 11.
I have Sleep Apnea, so I have a sleeping machine that I use to sleep and it usually helps me sleep a good six to seven hours with no problem. I feel very rested afterwards.

For the most part, I go to bed between 1:00am or 2:00 am...
It doesn't matter if I'm tired or not. I could be falling sleep but still I wait till those hours; I wake up between 8:30am or 9:00am.
...no exception on weekends, altough no matter how late I went to bed I'll wake up between 6:30am or 8:00am, Why? Because as a child I used to wake up at those times to watch every cartoon there was
. And it stayed with me, altough now I fall sleep an hour later after waking up.
I also take nice "siestas" of 1 hour. Be it at 1:00pm (most likely, if I'm tired earlier) or 5:00pm (I usually don't like this time because I don't like to wake up so late in the day).

On school nights, I go to sleep around 10:30-11 and wake up around 6:15 am. I require a lot of sleep, so I tend to fall asleep in class..although most of the time I'm still awake..it's more like resting.
On regular nights with no school the following day, I go to sleep anywhere from 11 pm to 1 am and I wake up anywhere from 7 to 9 am.

Just an update on my sleep habits and also a bump
Now that Sophomore year has begun, I'm starting to go to sleep at 11:30. Mostly its because of the enormous amounts of work given in my AP class, and that I procrastinate a lot when it comes to studying for tests. I heard that people need 10 hours of sleep? Is that really possible? Since most of you guys sleep in the early morning and don't get 10 hours of sleep.

Yeah, it's possible. I slept for roughly 12 1/2 hours last Saturday. I only wish I could get that much sleep everyday. Now I'm down to about 6-7 hours thanks to school.Alan wrote:I heard that people need 10 hours of sleep? Is that really possible? I'm not a big sleeper in general, but lately my sleeping habits have become horribly unhealthy. I'm getting about 4-5 hours of sleep each night. For example, this morning, I woke up at 6am and wrote a 6 page paper by 8:30. I've gotta get up at 5 on Wednesday for work, and I've got a 12 page paper to write tomorrow (plus work, plus a basketball game here). It's really starting to catch up with me, but I've gotta make it through Wednesday, then I can start to get some rest.

Are You Sleeping Enough -- or Too Much?
http://www.webmd.com/sleep-disorders/ne ... --too-much
It's an older article (from 2002), but I was just shown it yesterday. I almost always get between 8 & 10 hours of sleep a night...apparently that's not good. Uh oh.
In general, I go to bed between 8:30pm and 10pm, and wake up between 6am and 8am.
