Atlantis Milo's Return-any inserts?

Post by wdwleesa »

Did anyone get a chapter index insert in their copy of Milo's Return?

nope no inserts for me either...

Nope, I did not get any inserts in any of my new DVD's today except 20,000 Leagues Under the sea, but Atlantis, Love Bug and the rescuers did not have any insert. It really makes the DVD's seem cheap to me and think that we should all complain. I expect when I get a DVD out the $5.88 bin at Wal-mart but not when it has a $20 or $30 MRSP. I think I will call them this weekend and see what's up.

I received both The Rescuers and The Love Bug from Amazon via UPS today. So it can't far behind.

I really hate to see this-the inserts are always the fun part of opening a new DVD! I always look forward to seeing the artwork on the inserts and looking through the pamphlets at all the upcoming releases. Like Papa Bear said, if I buy a 5.00 DVD from Walmart, I don't expect any extras. But when I pay 19.99, I expect a simple paper insert. What a shame. Disney can do better.

I'm calling up Disney's Home Video line to complain. This is ridiculous.

Wow. I have no interest in buying the DVD, but that is ridiculous!    As far as I can tell out my 75 DVDs the only 2 that don't have inserts are concert ones. What a load of crap!

can someone post a scan of the chapter insert if they have one. i'd like to print it and put it in my own copy of atlantis 2 if i could. when i first bought it at target, i was in my car and opened it and frowned at the lack of an insert. when i exchanged it for another dvd there on the spot this dvd had no insert either. i thought maybe it was a batch defect or something, but i'm glad i'm not the only one in the world who didn't get one. maybe this is why rescuers and love bug were recalled.....

well, I'm ashamed to see disney follow the trend again. A lot of other companies are doing to this, and I thought disney would not follow that trend, but I guess I am wrong!!!! This really cheese's me off. Geeze. And no insert for Rescuers!! derrr..r..r..r.r.r.!

I emailed the Disney DVD division this weekend to voice my displeasure at this new practice after opening The Rescuers DVD to find no insert. I got the standard, canned reply of, "We'll send this request to our marketing department." Well, this is probably the same marketing department that decided to remove any and all adult clothing/items/snowglobes from the Disney Stores. So, I expect my little complaint will fall on deaf "Mickey" ears! Oh well, I tried.

I haven't opened the new Bugs Life II yet-sure hope with all the fancy packaging they at least included a chapter insert, but I won't get my hopes up! :(

I don't have Bug's Life CE yet, but I would think it has a booklet just like all the other Pixar CEs. It's Pixar, so I think that maters. The big sets (Pixar, Platinum) will always have inserts, that's for sure. It's lesser-known stuff I'm worried about.

The Bug's Life CE Reissue DOES have an insert - its only one page. One side is the chapter listing, the other side is the list of bonus features.

And Jake, I doubt Pixar would have anything to do with wether or not there's an insert would they? Disney is the one that distributes and markets everything they do.
