I split it from the Lion King Gift Set thread since it had become off-topic.

You can take away the music, but not our spirit!

Fist in the air! Power to the people! Umm....cheese for the workers!

Oh, and as far as the whole bootlegging thing goes: I didn't know you owned the originals. In that case, you are correctly exercising your space/time shifting powers under the Act. Well done :P

That quote reminds me of Bilbo Baggins from Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings. He called the One Ring precious.

Bilbo: ... it's mine... my own... my precious...
Gandalf: Precious? It's been called that before, but not by you.
Bilbo: Oh, what business is it of yours what I do with my things??
Gandalf: I think you've had that ring quite long enough.
Bilbo: You... you want it for yourself!
Gandalf: BILBO BAGGINS! Do not take me for some conjuror of cheap tricks! I am not trying to rob you, I'm trying to help you!

I hope your gift set arrives soon. :) I need to wait until next week for my Lion King DVD. I don't think Disney has shipped it yet.

Of course...I don't know where my head is at...

Maybe the title of this thread should be change to Bandwidth/Consumption Humour...
That way, we can make jokes about bandwidth and tuberculosis....

Does that mean that I'll get my DVD with the free lithos, plush toys and pin on October 10 too? :(

Attention K-Mart shoppers:
Pre-order your copy now and for a limited time receive a free* Lion King coolie for your soda can with the purchase of the Platinum Edition release of the Academy Award winning film.

*Available while supplies last with the purchase of The Lion King Special Platinum Edition DVD only. Coolie ships separate from DVD following the movie's street date of 10/07/2003.
Hmm, Disney licensing art for a coolie? That's cool. :)
