I actually haven't joined yet, but I want to so I was checking to see if they had the CE, but it wasn't listed. Maybe you have to join and then you'll see it. Or maybe with the new version coming out they only want members who have been at DMC a really long time to get it.

That's what it is. You can't get the Treasure sets either until after you've joined and a few others.

I just bought the Atlantis 2 disc collector's edition a couple of days ago and it was the same way. Atlantis was $21.95 at DMC and $34.99 everywhere else. I was shocked :o but at the same time, very pleased :) .

Maybe because somewhere in the past six months, Best Buy decided to turn a profit on selling it.
