Okay, the price of the movie isn't fixed, it'll range in price. I've bought a couple for $9.99, others for $26.99. It depends on the movie itself (The sales reciept will tell you the purchase price of it). Late fees have been eliminated in Canada and the U.S. (and possibly elsewhere, though I'm not positive), and that's why you're given the opportunity to pay for it after the 14 days. You can't purchase it up front.STASHONE wrote:Is it $14 for ALL single-disc dvd's regardless of theor status?
I don't rent or go to Blockbuster, but I was in one a couple of weeks ago with a friend from school and noticed a couple of very high sought after oop criterion titles that Id make a killing off for only $14!
Is this a universal policy, any Blockbuster, any title?
Also, why do you have to keep the movie for 14 days... are you paying late charges on top of the sale price?
27186, as I stated, it's Blockbuster's own policy, if they want to shoot themselves in the foot doing it, I say let them. They should have thought it out a little better before implementing it, and now it's too late for them. And I guarentee you I'm not the only collector out there doing this, Blockbuster has lost a lot of titles because of this policy. Eventually they'll get the hint and end it.
