I watched that short last night, and I used to enjoy it a lot. By the way, that starts out with Pooh on a bridge with pinecones, right? First of all, Rabit threw me off a lot. And the opening song was a horrible take on the original "Winnie the Pooh" theme. But what I couldn't stand was Eeyore's behavior. For me, it was the Walt Disney "commentary" on Snow White. Lots of really cool behind the scenes stories about how he made the movie. It would've been a lot more interesting if it had been an actual commentary where it went scene by scene. But this is obviously impossible as Walt's been dead for 30 years. Still, it was a great commentary. The narrator that filled in the gaps left by Walt was interesting. Dry, but interesting. I'll probably watch it again. Not all the time, though, as with most other commentaries.
On a side note, I just got the Snow White dvd from my grandma (she said I could have since she doesn't really watch tv anymore and hardly ever watches the same movie more than a couple times. I've noticed something, though. When I watch the movie with the original mono audio track, the dvd freezes at the layer change. Is this normal ?, probably not. Maybe it's just my player, a Sony DVPCX-860 300 disc player. Oh, well. I ran through that part with the 5.1 track and didn't really hear any difference to speak of. It only bugs me because I try to watch a movie/tv series with the audio track it had at the time it was released as it give a more nostalgic experience.

I saw the making-of featurette on the Snow White feature disc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it was an hour long. I was disappointed to see it end after only 20 minutes! Could this be a R2 issue? 
Anyway, it was fairly interesting. A lot was already known to me as a Disney fan, but the tidbits about the leap in the level of animation was fascinating. Quite in depth for such a short feature. 7/10

1.I just finished watching The Making of Beauty and the Beast.
Found it to be quite interesting, long enough and had some insight..... however, it didn't match the quality of the same feature in Aladdin.
I don't quite get how come they put such a lazy effort (in comparison) to what Disney proclaims they're best achievments: BATB and The Lion King.
... and who came with the idea of adding the same feature in 2 different sections of the DVD; if they didn't want to add anything more, they might as well haven't done that in the first place.
2. I also watched The Story behind the story. Nice "little" feature (it's almost more than 20 min. long) but they could have told the stories on all their Disney movies; they had space for that.

Very interesting info.
It is a shame Andreas DEja didn't get a special feature here; given the fact that this is going to be the last one where he animated a villain.
He must be really proud of himself. Most of the more important villains in Disney where created by him.

By the way, especial congratulations to the one for Ursula. It had to be really tough to animate those tentacles.

I watched Inside Walt's Story Meetings of the Bambi DVD.
I found it to be just as an audiocommentary... if not a little bit better because of how they blended concept art and Disney short's scenes as comparisons.
... and as said it again. One would wonder why they didn't do this with Cinderella as well, and keep it like a new bonus feature for the old movies a la DEHTM.
