To you question HECK yes! If you check ebay you will see them selling for big bucks. In another 40 years if you have a good collection you can quit your job for early retirement! Try to keep them in their original wrapping, and a dry cool place.
Wants Muppet Babies on DVD!!
Hopefully if Duckales and Rescue Rangers sell well we will get it!! Don't forget Gummi Bears!

They must be in their original bags, never opened to gain the most money. The older and better condition, the better. Complete sets sell well too. Some toys sell better then others. Disney and Star Wars toys for instance. Also I believe Batman Returns toys sell pretty well.
Also toys that ended up being pulled off the market. Such as Pokemon balls that choked a small child (mind you, it says not for children under 3 and if memory serves me correct, the child who choked was under the age of 2). Also several 101 Dalmations toys were recalled. A few, laid on their back with a teddy bear on their belly, but when turned over, it appeared the dog was humping the toy.
And the reason why Batman Returns toys sell well is because the movie was rated PG-13 and parents were up in arms they would market toys for young children that were from a PG-13 film. Burger King got slammed again by parents for selling Star Wars toys from Episode III, but Burger King covered their arses that time. They didn't market the toys as being from Episode III, but rather from ALL 6 movies

You know everytime I joke to my friends when we hang out at night saying "Hey lets go get a happy meal." I should really mean it next time. I mean man, if 40 years from now (lets see I'll be 59) I won't have to work again. I like that idea, I like it a lot but I never thought that a toy would make me rich. Meh, I'm too lazy to collect stuff, besides I would wan't to keep my collection then pass it on to other generations.

happy meal toys
If you go to auctions and flea markets, the beanies babies they had in the happy meals from years past in the bags can sell for a pretty penny these days. At garage sales, they can sell for 25 cents, but are worth more.

At E-Bay the McDonald's and Burger King's toys sell very well and fast like pancakes so yes it's good to buy them.
I wanted to buy the McDonald's toys from Disney that Celebrate the 100 years of Walt Disney and took out 100 different Disney toys.
That's a must for me.

I have a box of old Happy Meal toys under my bed. They aren’t in the original packaging and have been played with a lot (especially my Chip n Dale Rescue Ranges ones, I don’t think I could EVER sell those!!), so I don’t know if they would fetch that much.
Does anyone remember the promotion where they had Disney figurines in mini-VHS boxes of the Gold Collection titles?

found 2 or 3 still wrapped beanie baby toys.
Got a couple of other toys but not disney so didn't bother to take their pics.

Well why would the parents care if the movie was PG-13? I mean when I went to see Episode III the theater was filled with kids younger than 13. Well I guess for really little kids but still parents let them watch the movie anyways. That and they're toys. Just because the moive is PG-13 shouldn't dictate the purchase of a happy meal or kids meal.Siren wrote:Burger King got slammed again by parents for selling Star Wars toys from Episode III, but Burger King covered their arses that time. Zoltack>I am a parent of a 6 year old. I try not to comprehend what other parents think...it makes my brain hurt. I'll be taking my daughter to see Brothers Grimm next weekend...a PG-13 horror/comedy similar to Mummy and Van Helsing. Some parents just have their panties in a knot. My daughter is bugging the heck out of me to see it. She saw Hellboy, Van Helsing, Jurassic Park III, Star Wars Episode III, Batman Begins, and many other PG-13 movies. The local theater knows us well now. When Batman Begins and Madagascar were out and we walked up, they knew right away, we were seeing Batman...though we did see Madagascar later. It's how you raise the kids really. At home with DVDs and movie specials, she watches to see how they made the creatures. Be it animatronics or CGI. She knows its fake. She doesn't have nightmares from it. And hey, when I wanna see a PG-13 movie, I don't have to find a babysitter, I take her with me because she enjoys it. Several times we've been complimented on how good she is during the movies too. She sits stay and only whispers to me a question if she doesn't understand something
Well heck when I was 6 my parents world let me watch "R" movies. Stand By Me for instance, I love that movie growing up. I mean if I ever had kid's I would let them watch PG-13 films, but that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that many parents who complain about toys assciated with PG-13 films are over exaggerating seeing how they more than likely let there children watch the movie. It's a toy for god sakes just because the movie is PG-13 doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it. People complain about the most stupid things sometimes!!!
