Kingdom Hearts

Post by DisneyNewbie »

I just bought this game yesterday for my PS2. My cousin and I always wanted to get it but he persuaded me to get it yesterday though I wanted to get a PE Disney DVD but couldn't find any that I didn't have.

Has anyone ever beat the game? Any reviews on this or other Disney video games. I have Hercules on playstation its good. Also Aladdin on super nintendo I LOVE.

I bought this game back in January and it completely revived my interest in video games. Kingdom Hearts is the best game I have ever played in my life, both because of its mind-blowing graphics and deep gameplay.
I have never had so much fun playing a game as I did with this one, although it took me a whopping 51 hours of gameplay (and even then I had not found every secret in the game). The game is filled with challenging puzzles, great battles and a superb control scheme. Also it features a great cast of characters from the Disney and Square universes. So if anyone has a PS2 and has never played it I recommend it. Kingdom Hearts 2 drops in December and I cannot wait to get it.

Try a search next time. There are about 12 threads on Kingdom Hearts. You can find the most active one here. It mostly talks about the sequel, but any discussion of the first game is welcome.

Well, I don't mean to brag ( ), but I've beaten the main game, every sidestory and optional boss, my characters are all at level 100, and my stats are all at 100. Yep, yep, yep.

Trust me, it's a great game. The plot is original and surprisingly deep, the voice acting is superb (it has most of the voices from the movies), and the gameplay is really good (but there are a few camera problems from time-to-time). There is also a sequel for the Game Boy Advance and a sequel coming for the PS2 later this year. If you have any questions or get stuck in the game, just ask and many people will be happy to answer.

I bought it over a year ago and I have to say it's one of the best games ever. The plot is original, the characters are great, the graphics are one of the best. So overall it's a great game. :D

Actually it might not after all. Japan's is being released this December but our version could take a few more months of polishing. >< From what I hear they're halfway done with the American vocals (still wonders if the PotC characters will have their star voices from the movie)

Shock the red bells? Is that in the Alice in Wonderland world? All you gotta do is lock on to them and use thunder. Well, is not necessary to shock them since all they'll give you is Hi-Potions or Defense up. They will not advance the game. Did you beat the cards in The Queens court trial yet?

You gotta tell me what you've done so I could help you out. Did you beat the Queen's soldiers yet? Or are you still looking for clues to show the queen Alice is innocent. There's a lot of twists in that level so you have to help me out too.

Yes I fought and showed evidence, I figured it out. I had to go on the Gummi ship and I went to the hercules stage. I think thats what i was suppose to do. Wuts with the gummi ship shooting thing, will i have to go thru that everytime i want to go to another place?

No, no, no, did you fight the last boss in Alice's world? Did you lock the keyhole in that level. I'm going to have to start playing the game and help you out. You weren't supposed to leave until you find the keyhole, Hercules is just a bunch of tournaments, so go back to Alice. About the Gummi Ship thing, yes you have to travel a lot but as the game progresses you'll get faster engines and more powerful weapons and of course a gummi ship that lets you teleport to any world.

Follow my advice, go back to Alice's world and go to the big room where there's a table and chair, and go to that doorknob that can talk (Alice in Wonderland fans remember his name?) The boss should appear, he's not so tough, but you're going to do a lot of jumping. Defeat him, if you're having more problems, you gotta tell me where you're stuck.

Don't spend money on one when all (or most) of your answers are here:

You should've been able to talk to the door after beating the Trickmaster. Are you sure you fought it? The tall gangly one? Right after that you were supposed to be able to talk to the Doorknob.
