Well I already listed my purchases in the New DVD thread, but I'm very happy about this one, so I'll update here to say that I got it today! :D

Too bad there's not an option to vote for "not sure" because that's what I would vote.
Buffy: We have a marching jazz band?
Oz: Yeah, but, you know, since the best jazz is improvisational, we'd be going off in all directions, banging into floats... scary.

What happened to the "fuzzy packaging"? It's no big deal, I was just wondering as they were touting it a few months ago.

I might get it. I loved the show, and my best friend is obsessed with the Muppets. If I do decide to get it, it will be on the bottom of my "To get" list. I liked it, but only liked it enough for it to be a "maybe buy".

I'm not going to buy this anymore. I was going to. But I have HAD IT up to HERE with things being edited out of DVDs. I'm not paying tons of hard-earned money for anything edited. I don't care how or why it was edited, I don't buy incomplete episodes of TV shows anymore. If that means no more TV shows on DVD until these selfish, soulless, heartless jerks owning musical rights get smacked so their brains start working right - than so be it.

Why? Luke's review mentions which episodes have been edited and what was edited from them. :?

I know, but when I click the link, UD's "The page you were looking for was not found" page comes up, not the review. I just thought you might've made a typo in the link or something. That's why I said you might want to re-check the link. Maybe it's just my internet, I don't know.

EDIT: The link is working for me now. I don't know what happened. Sorry for the confusion.

Word to the wise, some people in other DVD Forums I use said that the copies at Best Buy didn't have the felt cover. I got mine at Wal-Mart for the record.

I hate edits to but if I really like something I will buy it even with the edits. The main example is Dawson's Creek. It has been butchered (even the main song in the beginning is not the same for a lot of the seasons) but I still bought it because I had to have the show.

I have a feeling a lot of the older shows are going to continue to suffer with major editing. The Wonder Years will probably have the same problem but I will still buy it when it comes out.

Luckily the newer shows probably won't suffer like this because the studios probably get the rights for the songs or material in the show immediately now.

I don't think I can afford this. But I do like the idea of the fuzzy cover, pretty neat feature. I just wished Spongebob would go on sale right about now. :)

I'm sure about that. I really want to get it, but I can't keep supporting this trend. It HAS to stop somewhere. I used to watch this show every day after school for several months and have the fondest memories of it. But I can't deal with these cuts. The music, if that's what was cut, is one of the 2 or 3 major components of that show. It's important. I don't blame Buena Vista as much as I'm sure it's the fault of the money-grubbing jerks who aren't lending the rights out for cheap. I'm positive they already damn payed these friggin' creeps to get the music on the original episodes. That should damn well be enough... Especially since a lot of these people actually got money for EVERY time the episodes where their songs played aired.

Well I sort of agree with Lazario, however Disney will most likely never release these edited peices so I might as well buy this since it's better to have it edited than to not have it at all! Besides like Jiminy said, hardly anything has been edited!
