New Disney Music Video....Hero's Video Sequel
I guess you can call it a sequel or perhaps a follow-up. But I had my fun making all the Disney girls need assistance from the Disney heros...
Now it's the girls' turn!
http://www.sirens-grotto.com/girl.wmv
After the fact, I meant to add Jane from Tarzan. I mean, how girl can you get with Jane? But oh well. After 3 times making this video, I am so done. First time I made it, my computer had a brain fart and I lost the ENTIRE video. The second time I completed it, the video quality was extreemly poor not to mention I decided I wanted to include the Incredibles....so yet another re-do. Maybe I'll add Jane kicking Tarzan in the face some other day. We'll see. But I won't promise.
Ha ha! The link works now!!

Lady and the Tramp Music Video...DTV Inspired
I don't take credit for the idea of this video. For those of you who are old enough or simply had the chance to see only DTV segments and specials, you may remember this. There was a special called DTV Doggone Valentine with music videos of Disney dogs. The "Lady" one was the most memorable and I probably should give it the credit for kindling the flame in me to get into this silly video making hobby. I finally got a chance to make it myself. I remember the very beginning of the video starting at Lady telling Tramp off. That deffinetly stayed. A few other clips that I remembered I also recreated, but other parts of it, I drew a blank, so I winged it. Not sure how close to the original it is.

You've done another spectacular job! I love watching these videos of yours. Unlike so many other fan-made videos, your editing matches the song perfectly.
I remember one DTV quite vividly. It was pretty much all Alice-themed and was set to the song "Good Vibrations" by the Beach Boys. Do you think sometime in the future you could make your own version of this video? I'm saying it has to be your next one or anything, but I'd love to see you tackle this in the future. I can't wait to see what other videos you come up with!

I think I remember DTV, that's where they would show a bunch of clips from Disney animated films set to famous pop songs and such, right?
I seem to remember at least one, "Evil Woman" by ELO and they showed 'scary' clips and such. Ha ha, of course that's the one I'd remember. But, I think there was one for "Wop-bob-a-loo-bob-a-wop-bam-boo" (I have no idea if that's the title of the song, but I think Little Richard sang it).
Ah, now I remember there was one for "Sea Cruise" ("won't you let me talk you on a sea cruise, ooh-ee...").

Thanks Disneykid! I'll see about an Alice video to Good Vibrations in the near future
I work on inspiration alone. I'll get the song and sit down to listen to it and think of Alice in Wonderland and see what pops into my head
Lazario>Yup, that was DTV. All pop music set to Disney movies and shorts.

Anyway, I just watched that video and I must say that it was pretty good (as usual). Like DK, I would like to give some inspirations for a possible music video. Have you listened to "Your Song" from the film Moulin Rouge? I heard it around the Hero video, so I had home-made music videos on my mind, and I really wondered how that song would look as a music video containing all different pieces of romantic scenes from Disney films.

Well, DK, you can always go on my bicycle to the Disney Toon Studios wearing an Irish Trenchcoat. Then you can sneak in as an Irish script inspector and read the scripts for sequels like Alice in Wonderland 2, Treasure Planet 2, The Great Mouse Detective 2, Hercules 2, The Three Caballeros 2, Home on the Range 2, Pinocchio 2, Dumbo 2, The Sword in the Stone 2, Oliver and Company 2, Song of the South 2, The Black Cauldron 2, Robin Hood 2, The Rescuers Down Under 2, Mary Poppins 2, Bedknobs and Broomsticks 2, Fun and Fancy Free 2 and Pete's Dragon 2. Then you can leave and post it all here. Then people will never know if you're Teede or Disneykid. Trust me.Disneykid wrote:Better to be confused with Wondy than Teede, I always say!

Silly me and my dial-up! I'm gonna let this load while I'm at work and watch it when I get back, but I'm too impatient to wait and see it before responding.
Yes, I remember that particular special and I'm going to assume this is the Kenny Rogers song. I hope I still have the special on tape somewhere, as my tapes have scattered a bit in my last couple of moves. At any rate, so glad you've recreated it. Lady and the Tramp was my dad's favorite Disney movie, and just about anything associated with it gives me warm fuzzy feelings. Plus that certainly was the most memorable video from the special.
I remember talking about these specials on here a long time ago. . . did you ever see the DTV Valentine? It originally aired in 1986 and was later retitled DTV Romancin'. That was the best one ever! Oh man, I really wish they'd put these on DVD! I think my personal favorite was when they got it to look like Clarice from Chip and Dale was singing "Dress You Up" by Madonna!
I'll comment more when I come back and see the video.
