Greetings, n69n! I too am eager to get The Little Mermaid Platinum Edition! My favorite movie is Cinderella, so I'm more eager to get that Platinum Edition DVD this October 4. But I LOVE The Little Mermaid and can't wait for it! I think the release date is supposed to be sometime in fall of 2006! We will actually find out more about it on the Cinderella DVD when it comes out (they often promote DVDs that are coming soon on DVDs that are already out).

Who here is eagerly awaiting for PE of The Little Mermaid? ;)

Time's really flying by though. Already it's almost time for the Cinderella PE release...
Wherever. Whatever. Have a nice day.

I eagerly await the release! I plan on buying a lot of Mermaid things to celebrate the occassion! This is my favourite movie ever, and it's finally getting a DVD edition worthy of the film's name.

I am one of those people who can actually wait for Little Mermaid to be released. It's probably because I don't think it's such a great movie. Of course it has it certain parts but it doesn''t do it for me. I prefer Beauty and the Beast over Liittle Mermaid anyday. And also Snow White is a much better classic which I think they should put mermaid on hold and bring back Snow White for those of us who missed buying it on dvd.

I see the Snow White Platinum in Disney stores regularly (along with Beauty and the Beast). For some reason they keep all the movies that have gone out-of-print there, but nowhere else (I bought B&tB's platinum there, when noone else had it anymore). o_O? But I couldn't care less if Snow White stays on her death bed for another 10 years, as long as I get my Little Mermaid Platinum.

I'm both shocked AND appalled that Little Mermaid has not been "platinum-ized" yet. Ok, I'm not shocked and appalled but I do wish it would come out soon. :P
But the thing that makes Woody special, is he'll never give up on you... ever. He'll be there for you, no matter what.

Little Mermaid III

Post by Disney Duster »

Is The Little Mermaid III still coming out? After all Disney Toon Studios in Australia will close soon. Since the 2-D animation is supposed to be done in Tokyo, Taipei, and other places in Asia after Disney Toon Studios in Australia closes, then will TLM III be done in Asia now? Who has proof of there even going to be one at all?

I think that the Little Mermaid will have Collector's Gift Set, what do you think? Because Bambi didn't have one, but Cinderella comes with Collector's and I haven't read anything about Lady and the Tramp Collector's Gift Set, so my conclusion is that only the Platinums that are released in October have a Collector's Gift Set

Yeah, why do they have to release Lady and the Tramp before the Little Mermaid. The Little Mermaid is more famous, and better than the Lady and the Tramp, and I don't think people here don't talk too much about Lady and the Tramp.
